Excellent review! I especially appreciated how you addressed the major concerns people have about the game. Cheers

My group is 6 players, so I'm interested in your one-card-per-player suggestion. How would you recommend handling the get-3-cards situation?

@@zur13l13 I haven't actually played with a large number, but I think I'd still allow the person who put the hero in prison to get the cards and perhaps immediately play an extra card or two. Same thing for cards allowing you to search for cards. My idea is that the general gist is that you play, on average a certain number of cards, before the heroes go. The simplest approach is to just allow them to go after a constant number of monster cards are played, but each player should be able to play 1 or 2 extra if they get extra cards. The exact numbers would probably take some play testing and could vary depending on the difficulty the group wants.

Great review! Do you have an opinion on the replayability of this game? I know there are several factions, but is it a game you think you can keep coming back to, even for the same monsters/scenarios? Thanks!

I think so. The order in which each of the different heroes come out is randomized. That then affects what you will do to counter them. So I think there is a ton of replayability. However, do be aware that it's not a game where each of the missions feels completely different.
