I cut the ends, and I put the white part in a open bottle adding water half way, and I put it next to the window and I change the water every two days. I stop buying them. So I buy them when the roots stop making more. I buy them every other months because I’m growing the green onions in my home. However, this idea is fantastic to keep the green part last longer. Thank you Ms. Pam!

Great idea 💡 What I do every time that I buy green onions I put them in a cup by a window that gets some sunlight. And it keeps my green onions still growing and they are always fresh when I need them!!!! And they do grow fast even in the winter! I have a glass of green onions in my kitchen window right now lol but make sure that you change out the water every 3 days 🥰
