Dont give up my friend. Your time is coming. Something I have learned is to not put too much weight into meetings with people. We hope to kinda "get something" out of it whenever we meet with someone, myself included, im guilty of it. 95% of the time it will lead to nothing right off the bat. The key is to maintain a relationship and friendship. The jobs will come, but always build those relationships, even if you dont think they amount to anything. It'll pay off. Continue to make your own work. People will hire you because of what they see. Make more work and make work you are passionate about.
