aww, I mean I wanted Joe and Dianne to win, but watching this again I am so happpy for Stacey and Kevin, they deserve it and Kevin's reaction was priceless. I think it's safe to say that this was my favourite year of Strictly EVER!

Can't we just be happy for Stacey instead of saying that she didn't deserve to win?! How rude can you be? So your favourite didn't get the trophy, big deal! It's not like this show is anything apart from a friendly competition! I think they all danced beautifully ,improved SO SO much and everyone in the finals deserved to be there and win. Shame on anyone who thinks that Stacey's hard work means nothing.

THIS IS JUST A THEORY AND IM NOT HATING, BUT JUST QUESTIONING.They had already planned out for Stacey and Kevin to win. I understand how hardworking Stacey is however I think Joe would have got more votes than her due to his popularity. And for the record Joe and Dianne were always the first ones to go through to the next round , because they had the most votes. So if winning the final is based on the number of votes, and considering how many people would have voted for them, where did all those votes go? Strictly were also aware that Joe and Dianne were getting the most amount of votes each week(due to Joe's fan base), therefore knew that it is very likely for them to win, and for whatever reason decided that Joe and Dianne don't deserve to win. EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION, AND I AM ENTITLED TO MY OWN. SO CAN YOU STOP HATING.

Stacey just pipped Joe to the post. One of the closest votes in Strictly history. I know someone who works for the voting company, who said they ensure each vote is counted extremely carefully. I’m not sure in much detail about the voting process but I know that much.

I think they all smashed it tonight. Obviously Faye and Ashley were just flawless. Joe had the best showdance in my opinion, but Stacey has had such a journey and improved so much, and I’m very happy she’s won.

Wow. Completely unfair to say this show was rigged just because the person you wanted to win didn't. Stacey also has plenty of fans and in the final people who didn't vote before often do vote, especially if they think there's an obvious winner, like Joe seemed to be. Ashley and Faye both have an extensive dance background and while I love Joe, Stacey is a stronger dancer. She's the worthy winner.

I completely agree. I don't know why Joe's fans are being so unpleasant as this doesn't reflect his personality. He's such a nice person. Stacey deserved this. I don't see how it's rigged. I really liked Joe and Dianne but why are people throwing their toys out of the pram? How do we know the size of Stacey's fan base? I reckon it's equally as big as Joe's. Let's face it the majority of us didn't know who he was until he was on strictly. Let's be happy for people's achievements rather than being bitter and saying it's fixed just because someone didn't win. Everyone in the final is a winner they did do well x

I really hope Joe and Dianne arent down. Thats my biggest thing im worried about. I dont want them to feel that we or his family arent proud of him. In my eyes and im sure others can agree, he was always a winner.

So happy and excited that Stacey and Kevin have one they really deserved it. They were brilliant throughout the series. Stacey just got better and better every week. Considering she had no dance experience she did brilliantly. Kevin is my favourite professional dancer and should have won it before now and is a fabulous dancer i'm always rooting for him. Well done Stacey and Kevin true champions.

I don't know how people think its rigged, Kevin has danced and fought his way to the final so many times and has missed out on winning, he finally wins with stacey, a lovely and fabulous contestant and now people say its rigged. Sophie Bloomfield they make a safe gamble and always book the couple with the highest odds going into the final and this year that was Stacey and Kevin. Every single poll I saw tonight had Stacey and Kevin winning by about 10% after each dance. Frankly I think these rigging allegations are ridiculous and people need to grow up, if only because our whining and whinging is giving Joe and youtubers in general a bad rep.

If the winner should be picked due to their dance techniques and consistency, then the winner should have been Faye or Ashley. Stacey and Joe grew as the competition went on but Ashley and Faye set a high standard from Day one and were able to maintain it throughout the series (no mean feat). This should not be about who has the largest fan club but who has the strongest and most consistent dance technique. It is a dance competition after all. Anything short of this totally defeats the purpose of the show. Personally, wasn't too happy with Stacey winning but I could accommodate it because I saw her growth and hard work. Audiences need to be more objective when voting so that the most deserving person wins!

Oh rubbish. I realise you're a fan, as am I, but he certainly DID NOT deserve to win. He was far below par compared to the others. And yes, Ashley and Faye had quite a bit of experience and are natural dancers but their choreography was WAAAAAY harder and more intricate than the others.

Ever since her street commercial routine moved me to tears I knew she was going to win it. She has this amazing emotion that she puts into all her dances and tonight she had a bad night but the public pulled through. Absolutely deserving winner ❤️.

As someone who didn’t really watch the whole series I have to say if winning was based on who’s the best dancer, it’s Ashley hands down. But since I thought the final was purely about votes, I thought Joe would win, definitely not Stacey who I personally thought was just okay.

I couldn't decide who I thought would win, personally I liked Joe and Ashley the best as well as Stacey's Paso and Faye's Couple's Choice dance. They were all brilliant! I hope nobody starts arguing that the show is rigged or start taking digs at Stacey because they wanted Joe to win. They've all worked so so hard throughout all of this and all deserved to lift that trophy tonight. Just be happy that your favourite made it so far into the show and that they all pulled out their best dances and gave their all to 3 very complicated routines each! Loved the show this year!

I'm here because of Joe, as so many others as well, but let's be real, Stacey and her partner were better and really do deserve the win. I would have loved Joe and dianne to win this trophy but watching this I realised that the others deserve it as well or even more...

A lot of people wanted joe to win but someone called Joe won last year so it wouldn’t be that fair 😂 also a girl hasn’t won since 2014 so good for stacey

Shouted with joy when they read out Staceys name! She so deserves it, such an amazing person and her dancing has improved so much. To those who think it's rigged because Joe has a lot of fans, keep in mind that this is one of the biggest shows in the UK, there is a huge amount of votes and the audience aren't necessarily the same as Joe's audience so even if he got a million fan votes there would be a lot more normal votes and since Stacey was clearly a better dancer they were more likely to go to her. As a Joe fan he would be ashamed at how angry and immature many of you are being in the comment section.

I am so so so happy! I wanted Joe and Stacey to win equally but I'm incredibly happy for Kevin! Everyone did brilliantly. I just love this show. Congratulations to everybody, especially the winners!

The BBC don’t count the votes, another company does so it’s not like they chose her because she works for the BBC and secondly, apparently last year, Debbie was on the other show and she didn’t win.

Not annoyed with Joe fans in general. Just annoyed with the lack of grace shown. Joe didn't won so it must be rigged? How about congratulating the winner and being magnanimous about it? Joe can manage it after all. Seems like a nice mature chap. Sadly some of his fans (Not you necessarily but) are being quite unpleasant about the whole thing. A simple "I supported Joe, but congrats to the winner" would do.

i genuinely think joe is a very nice guy, but this whole thing puts me off a bit. i have no problem with people supporting who they wanted to win, but when everyone starts going at stacey and kevin, the team behind strictly or just other people in the comments - that's what I find really upsetting. especially after how lovely the series has been.

This comment section is making me kinda angry. All those upset fangirls claiming it was rigged because Joe didn't won. Ever considered that much of his following is from outside the UK? And just because his sister has a lot of UK following doesn't mean they will vote for him too. Strictly is more a show for the older audience, and I'm pretty sure the majority of voters are way above the average age of Joe's following. This was not rigged. Everyone who was in the final deserved to be the winner! Everyone but Ahsley was never in the danceoff, hence they had very many supporters. Joe did amazingly well throughout the series (I didn't really expect that though), but overall, Stacey was the better dancer! Also I'm so glad that Kevin finally wo the Glitterball. He's so adorable, by far my favourite male pro!

I cried for Kevin. He deserved that win so much! All those finals . He will always be my fave male pro. However, joe and Diane’s show dance was sensational .
