Watch out with Topuria. Volko is a very very hard fight, he’s one of the best fighters I’ve ever seen. That being said, remember what everybody said when Aldo fought McGregor. Everybody was saying Aldo was going to kick his ass and that he had no chance against Jose. This sport is unexpected bro. Hopefully Ilia pulls it off.

Ilia is the real deal. I knew he was gonna beat volk. They say there are levels and ilia continues to prove that. Aside from Conner which won’t happen he should fight islam.

I think best way Ilia could do it, would be to have a streak of something like Volk, (maybe Volk rematch), Max, then he fights winner of a title eliminator between Movsar vs Ortega. Aljamain might beat Kattar and then win a top 5, fight, that would be another good fight for Ilia to potentially take on. I think Lightweight needs a break from Featherweight fighters, at least for a year or so.
