Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Keep in mind the Keen also features no glow IR, the only pan tilt camera on the market to do so (that I’m aware of) 👍

A feature that I definitely failed to make note of. Thanks for pointing out my mistake.

Learning this from someone else we mounted the camera and solar panel on a board and used a tie down strap to attach the board to the tree. This made it easy to move around our property without screwing into trees. Also tie down strap is stronger.

One way to stop animals from chewing on any exposed wires is to wrap it in duct tape. I too was having trouble with animals chewing on exposed wires and then I started using the duct tape. I've not had one single nibble since then and I've been doing it for several years. I don't know what they don't like about it but they will not eat it. Good luck!

Those are great cameras. This winter my solar panel wouldn't charge i had to get a 15,000mah solar panel for it to work

I put my cord through a short CPAP tube (for people with sleep apnea). You can buy them online. They are clear plastic and I wrap in black electrical tape. That way I dont gum up the cable.

💥 A Bear ate mine. I think the previous version was showing itself due to the Red LED’s slightly glowing at night. Also a guy told me to spray it with a Sent Blocker after mounting.

You can splice the wire easily to shorten it. Ive done it with several of my Reolinks. One thing I wish Reolink would allow are still images. Bc deer/racoons can really drain these batteries to a couple days if they feed underneath the camera all night. So I had to stop recording during night to just preserve my battery. Oh and I love the pan/tilt feature! Very useful. And we watch deer at home via the live view with the kids. They love spying on them especially during the rut and moving the camera makes it that much more enjoyable.

Yes. I spliced one of the chewed wires it’s just annoying to have to do if it happens often.

I just went to T-Mobile got 5 gigs for $20 month. Free cancelation at any time. So summer months I will just turn it off.

I haven’t tested it in a time of places. At my main hunting area this one seemed to do better than the Reolink Go PT plus. Not sure if it was the camera or the service carrier.

Nice review. I'm curious what battery life ends up being. I use still trail cameras w solar boxes & they can get run down with a lot of activity by them. I imagine these must eat up some juice sending video

I’ve been using them for quite some time without need for recharge, however I don’t have them in high use areas, but I do get several videos per day without issue.

I have had mine out for 2 years now. Untouched. as long as the panel gets good sun. Most of the day it does fine. I use it as a trail camera, but if you put it in an area that has constant traffic All day the solar panel may not keep up.

On Eiot data plans I have 3 Eufy cameras on them now for right at a year One is the 24 gig plan and 2 are the 2 gig a month The cameras in hunting months get very heavy use at automatic feeders as a lot of deer On the other months I set them on from a property I have that is next to a property with a lot of street people and very active so it’s heavy use there also The regular use is about .6 gig a month on very heavy it’s close to 2 gig a month The 24 gig 360 day plan has 6 gig left and expires in 6 weeks The 10$ plans auto renew each month I plan to put some out on an out of state property after hunting season to reduce potential of theft of cameras. I also have several trail cameras and the data plans by Eiot are better than most of trail plans for deer cameras and I get live view I have two of the Reveal trail cams that stand out I also have spypoint and some others
