YES! He sounds amazing on both those albums! My favorite Europe album by far, is "Prisoners in Paradise"! So many cool songs! And with a lot of diversity. Perfect production too.

I see a lot of butthurt people in the comments. Whether you like one over another it doesn’t mean you can freely insult either of them. Grow up. Kee Marcello did a great job for Europe and he is a great guitarist. Life was not easy for this man, give him a break. He is here giving an interview with his best intentions and some people can’t even say something nice. I wish I could give him a hug and tell him there’s people that admire his work over the years.

Went to see his gig in Stockholm on 4th April playing songs from Prisoners in Paradise and Out of this world, totally amazing gig and got to meet Kee and had a brief chat, he was such a nice guy and very down to earth..I will remember it always.

One of the greatest guitarists ever! PIP outtakes are amazing as well. Som of the best music ever.

The first record of EUROPE l heard is OUT OF THIS WORLD. So Kee is EUROPE,EUROPE is Kee！Prisoners in paradise is one of the best record I heard.

You are a big inspiration. Back in the day, Europe played in 1990 biggest festival in Chile (viña del mar) and at the time i was into rock and starting to play guitar, but when you took the stage, it was just mind blowing. Right now our local band (New Jersey, based un Concepción Chile) it's making an Europe special concert. My job it's the hardest. To this day it's F1 playing and need serious chops to attempt it. Thank you for your music.

Kee Marcelo & Gunnar Westlie (Da Vinci) they have been probably the best guitarists that have ever existed in the Nordic Melodic rock scene.

I found John to be very arrogant until Europe reformed. I like him now, but Kee is still missed, John didn’t have his soul for many years, and I’d still prefer Kee on tour with them. Great, humble guy, as were Joey, Mich and Ian. 😉👍🇬🇧

John and Kee aren't better or worse than one another...just different. I'm an equal fan of both, because both did the work to be memorable. If both collaborated on something, I think the end product could be beyond awesome. =)

All I can say is superstitious solo is one of the greatest ever, one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and one of the best solos I've ever heard, definitely my top 10 💯

Kee...one of my biggest influences on playing melodical solo's...His solo spot in the concerts back in the eighties where a big inspiration. Goosebumps watching the fusion parts before they kicked in Flight of the Bumblebee.

I think that addiction was triggered by the bad advice given to him by Thomas Erdtman, Quila....Thomas did some REAL greasy shit back then, and had I been around the band then, and found out about Thomas' BS, I'dve knocked 'Tommy Boy' out and sued the living hell out of him. o.o

For me you are one of the classical guitar players of the 80s and early 90s. A guitar hero of mine. And I know many agree.

Norum is great but Kee elevated the band, the solos he did were nothing short of amazing, super clean, fast and melodic as hell. Norum can't even play his solos right, Kee rules!
