How to reach Varkala from Trivandrum:-
By Train: The most convenient way is to take a train from Trivandrum Central Railway Station to Varkala Sivagiri Railway Station which takes around 30-45 minutes and from here Varkala beach is about 3-4 Kms away.
By Bus: You can also take a bus from Trivandrum Central Bus Station (located near the railway station) to Varkala Bus Station. The distance between Trivandrum and Varkala by road is around 40-45 Kms.
Taxis and auto-rickshaws are also available for hire from Trivandrum to Varkala.
However, renting a bike is a convenient option for travelers who want to explore the area at their own pace.
