I'm 68 years old and came across this song just a couple of months ago. The lyrics just bring tears to my eyes each time because the simple things are worlds and worlds away. Sometimes they're hard to see, harder even to remember that they did exist. Life starts out with a single word then ends up in jumbles. You get thrown all around but you know there's always a place that your heart won't ever let go.

I discovered this song yesterday, what a masterpiece

Yesterday was my last GCSE exam. A physics paper, to be exact. We're all off to do our own things in September. My friends are going to study their own college courses, and I'm off to study animal management at the college I've always dreamed of getting into. Missing all those I've lost along the way. I miss the days when we'd run around the playground at school playing cats and dogs. I miss them all so very much, we haven't spoken in years, and I just hope they're doing well. I miss my mum. It's been a little over a year since she passed, and I just wish she was here right now to see me graduate high school and go off to college. This song makes me so emotional, it’s not even just life itself. It’s thinking about what the future holds that makes you cry. I sent this to one of the most closest and most important person in my life around 5-6 months ago and they left me for someone else 4 days ago and I’m going to be in pain for a while, which reminds me that you’re going down a different path than your friends and loved ones. I still remember when me and my bff promised each other we would go to the same college and we still talk now but we’re going down different paths.

There is this girl in my class too. Worked together with projects. At that time, all I was focused was at my school and my progress and I tried brushing them off all the time she tries to talk and greet me, I would always end it short until there was a class activity which we would create digital posters for someone we are grateful for and she made one for me and it touched my soul. No one has ever done that for me and I can't stop thinking about her. I have failed my school progress and my family is a miserable mess and I just realized that I have lost her too. Just wished I wasn't too distant. I will forever be grateful to her. She made me stumble from my tracks and made me thinking about the beautiful side of life. I love you Cheska! If she matters alot, pls do let her know that you are grateful to have her and how valuable she is. We may not know when it'll be the last time we'll see them.

Last time i listened to this song me & him were still together... 140 days ago today,, i still miss him & love him so much. this song suddenly played the very moment i was trying to comfort my girlfriend (LDR) telling her that someday im gonna go "save her" from her mentally abusive family, and take her somewhere we can have fun and forget all the problems she's been dealing with. when i heard the chorus i got chills, ive never heard this song before it just randomly played, and when i read the title i was so fantasized by the timing, this song means a lot to me now. 💞

I remember the last day of my primary school and during our production all of the girls would sing this we would twist the lyrics abit making it more of our memories in school it was really heart touching. so glad i found this song again it really brought alot of memories

I wonder if my new friend would turn their back on me too. Well I just went to highschool and we know eachother just a couple of months. We may talk and have something in common but as a friend I will never be her first choice as she have plenty of better friends. For sure less toxic than me. Who would want to listen to sarcasm and introverted pesymisem who is suicidal? no one. Because it is just some sort of a burden
