“Hip rolling”, is evident in many cultures, and is neither masculine, nor feminine. It’s just another expression of dancing, controlling the body. Western “civilization”, has us out here sexualizing women, and dismissing masculinity for simply moving our bodies. These dancers, are a treasure.

The essence of divine masculinity in a dance. As a woman, I feel great admiration and honour towards these completely embodied and artistic men. The young man on the left of the screen (throughout most of the performance) is featured and interviewed. The discipline required of these young men is great. Their exercise goes from the ocean to the top of coconut trees using only what nature provides for equipment. Their endurance is definitely tested. *Everyone on that stage - including the musicians and the singer - has my deepest respect. The performance was fire! And flawless.* 👏🏽🔥

@Bidu Bidu they always danced. Caucasus dance, traditional Russian dances and many more from all the nations in Russia. Almost all of it is washed out. And russian men aren't manly, they're just rude for the most part. The culture with the influence of politics made people bitter, demoralized and self-conscious. That's why the deep connection and pride is mostly lost and switched for hollow arrogance. No hate, but I feel sorrow for this loss. However nothing is set in stone and there is always a possibility for a good change.

@Bidu Bidu dude just watch Georgian dance, they fight with SWORDS. But honestly I think in the end it's a matter of opinion. I personally think if someone has a nerve to dance with passion and further more go through intense training and make these moves it's manly as hell, I don't care what dance it is. Plus, masculinity is different in many cultures, maybe in the west people have different views on it. But personally I find dancing men manly as many women too , that's why stereotypes about cool tango dancers for example exist

Что началось после ухода мужчины постарше? О чем эти интересные движения? И ведь при этом какой-то сок выжимали, собрав с деревьев.

You can see that they're warriors using their physical prowess to express their culture and their place within it, channelling their manhood into such artistic and beautiful expression of mastery.

*The first gentleman made me swoon!! Those thunder thighs and powerful calves are everything!!* I recently watched the video on the history of Men's Hula.

The hula (this dance) is about love, gods and nature.
This is so graceful and beautiful yet fully masculine.
Me encanta pues se ve totalmente tradicional, se ve que están contando una historia ….súper hermoso
The dancers are amazing but I wanna be able to sing like that. Seriously, how do they not run out of breath?

@Mutiara Naga first of all no one can spot it just by someone dancing and secondly these men are all generically like this or stocky build. Steroids can only be spotted physically if muscle is distorted or deformed and if someone shows signs of anger

The synchronicity, the beat, the whole performance. I love to watch Hawaiian, it doesn't feel like a Disney performance for tourists. I played these songs for my baby son when carrying him and hope one day he will dance like this. Mahalo from another Polynesian island.

@JJ_Jahronus

@@louisevaldez1222 1st one is Ai'a Moloka'i Ku'u Iwa. They're not really songs though in the sense of modern entertainment , their kumu is basically sharing a story in chant form and think of the hula dancers acting out the words he's chanting.
Mesmerizing, perfectly synchronized movements. I wonder how much work they put into this. Besides... they're gorgeous!!!

I saw a competition, where there was a young man. He had to be at least 300lbs, maybe more. That didn't matter. He was amazing, because of his endurance, and never missed a beat. He danced for the whole 15 mins without showing any distress. Now that is impressive to me.

@@johnmahelona-deleon8285 Well, european lade here, and I can say that some of the comments are a little bit too to-the-point but the overall sentiment is shared. This is amazing dance. I'm in awe of how they trained their bodies and how they move. It's so masculine and powerful but without aggression or over the top show-off-ness. I love it so much. It's a very rare opportunity to admire male beauty. Well, the fact that each of the dancers is handsome like the devil only helps.
