Kottiyoor is an ancient pilgrim center devoted to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The temple is also known as ‘Dakshina Kashi’. There are two temples in Kottiyoor, ‘Akkare Kottiyoor Temple’ and ‘Ikkare Kottiyoor Temple’.
