I remember waking up the first day of 2010 and finding out her album was released. I bought it on my Voyager phone off of Verizon music, and I sang all the songs on the bus every morning on the way to school in 8th grade with a friend and fell asleep at night listening to this song on repeat. No matter how much time passes (6 years now) I'm going to remember every lyric to this. I miss back then

this song, and just her music in general. has inspired me to be myself unapologetically. kesha taught me that. that its 10000000% okay to be who i am and love who i am. im going through a rough patch in my life right now and watching "my crazy beautiful life" has helped me so much. we see the pain she's gone through and it helps me. i want to follow my dreams, like she did. and im proud to say that, *Kesha, you are my role model*

I once thought Ke$ha was just some stupid kid that forgot her mind in the process of success or something. She is crazy, no doubt about this, but she is far far far faaaar from stupid, quite the contrary: she is a freaking genius. And geniuses can be very misunterpreted, when in reality they are just too in touch with their own mind and feelings that sometimes (if not all the time) they can't even handle it right. But either way, whatever they do is interesting.

Ke$ha is very beautiful here! Definitely one of her most unique songs and performances and it's like you're in the spiritual realm or in another reality whenever watching this!!

Kesha's music is and will forever be part of my most beautiful memories. Anything can be said, but her melodies are so fun and touching, and the lyrics so relatable to me. Love u Kesha

To me, this is one of Kesha's most underrated tracks ever and another one of my favorites. This is basically, We R Who We R and Die Young combined together before those two tracks came out. Everything about the song I love, it's a good thesis statement about expressing your true inner self, also known as the animal inside. The production on this track is a lot more whimsical and very spacey and magical sounding. The music video for this is nothing but pure art. It's Kesha doing what I think might be interpretive dancing in the middle of space surrounded by light and it is a spectacle to look at. Also, I really wish this song would have been released as a single. This showcases Kesha's true abilities and talents within songwriting, alongside many other songs that showcase her inner depth and has good statements.

Because the song is very experimental. It's not very commercial. It's my favorite from her, though. But you have to be realistic.

When I bought the CD when it came out, I fell in love with her and the album but...I never understood why Animal wasn't that popular like the rest of the songs. Animal is such an underrated song. It deserved more.
