Crazy ending to the finals! Well deserved by the winner. Overall pretty fun and competitive season, with the exception of TvP on 76. Hoping to see if terran comes up with any solutions for next season.

We would love it if you analyzed a few games from that top account! Even if it's not Flash, it would be fun for the channel

Really happy for KCM bending over backwards so hard to ensure Protoss is sooonfed a win with hilariously imbalanced maps. Really hope next season we can get some normal maps instead of 76 (aka “Protossland”). Great job to snow for the reverse all kill but the stupid map imbalance really needs to stop

I have a question- how healthy is the brood war scene? Is there a lot of variance in high level players? Does anyone play it casually still? Writing a little essay about old games that are still around, anyone who can give a n00b like me some perspective would be very appreciated!

IMO the broodwar scene is in a really healthy state. There are a ton of foreigner tournaments going on now and a lot of players are enjoying it casually and competitively. There are plenty of excellent creators and streamers, lovesnow, Xun, Azhi-Dahaki, Herbmon, Tastless, Artosis, are just a few that I like to watch. And then there is the Korean scene which continues to thrive thanks to the huge popularity with the fans there and the amazing players that continue to improve and shift the metas by developing new strategies and showcasing their skills in tournaments like the KCM among others. A lot of the best players in the world now stream the game and that provides a ton of content to the audience and revenue for the players. I am also anticipating more SC2 pros may come back to or learn broodwar soon. It's a really enjoyable - challenging game that has an infinite ceiling in terms of perfecting your play.

When Queen killed the proxy 2-gate in 76, i stopped watching, it was clear as fuck it was over for Best, anyone who follows these pros for a long time and knows their capabilities could read it - you don't fuck up like that vs. the best zerg in the world and somehow continue. Wow thanks, I mean as casters it's our job to try to keep the game interesting. Imagine if we just said "well its over" and went to the next game whenever a player got an insurmountable advantage.
