taking drop affects placements in colleges,I have first hand experience from my cousin,The moment they see your data the first question they ask is why did you drop,And your interview then depends on that question. If you have rank of KCET more than 40k don't take drop go for ece,AIML,ISE instead of CSE in good college. The pressure will be huge when you drop. Relatives,Neighbours asking which college is your kid going and parents not responding. Even in home you will feel trapped every minute you take out your phone to relax,Parents get anxiety Wheater you are going to crack it or not. If your a good student and believe you can get rank if you try go for it also your boards must be 235+,There is also a factor of fear of failure,You know your wasted a year thinking you can better yourselves,Its a trail by fire,Success is the only option. And you must persevere and never stop believing yourselves and have no regrets when you finish the last paper of KCET and walk out of the room. If you think you can have continuity in developing your skills and capabilities every day and have the courage to withstand pressure and think you could do better go for it taking your family situation into consideration.

Taking drop for the kcet exam is just wasting of your one precious year.... If you taking drop for the neet exam. Then it's okay... But don't go for this such stupid things for kcet.... If you wanted to do something then take gate exam after the completion of your B.E..if you get good rank in gate then you have very chances to get into top iit colleges with high packages😊

Guys am a jee dropper and I suggest don’t take a drop. I think drop should only be taken when your percentile is above 80 or max 70+. But who scored below that is not necessary. I think you have seen what has happened to this year exams like NEET JEE ALSO KCET. U don’t know how next exam will be like. Also don’t go for online drop. Even though u are confident to study in online I suggest u for offline. Don’t listen to ur parents or relatives. Think for urself whether u have the courage to take a drop year or rather calling it wasting a year for a better college.

Don't take drop !! Last year i got seat for e and c .. i took drop to get cs but now it's became so difficult even to get a clg for EEE . The greatest regret ever. I don't want to see uh guys in that situation . Everyyear the compitation is so high ! And also they will increase 10 % fees . Go to the clg which uh got and study hard instead of wasting a very very very very precious year . Or else uh will REGRET !!! ... All the best 👍🥲
