I am obsessed with northern lights, and Mood Ring from Cirque is a favorite magnetic for that reason, now I absolutely need to get some magnetics from KB and their new magnet! That zigzag is brilliant for northern lights!

I 2ND THIS! Christy makes the BEST thinner! I just got some a few weeks ago and the few polishes I've used it for are in perfect good as new condition now, o ly using 2 or 3 drops

I will add that some thinners have an ingredient that can degrade glitter pigments over time, but KBShimmer's thinner doesn't have that ingredient!

So glad I waited for your swatches! I find your swatches are much more true to life than what they have as the swatches on their website

I didn’t even finish the video before I ran to buy the magnetic polishes! So stunning! And the green totally reminds me of the northern lights. I get to see them all the time outside my house, and the polish captures it so nicely!

Omg the shimmer jelly with holo flakies! I bought a few of those and those new two colors looks so cute!!! I love how they’re like 4 types of effects in one polish but it’s not overwhelming at all. Kbshimmer has my heart hahah

I live these paired up and northern ecxpososure are my faves so pretty there're sp jewl toned and eyecatching the magnet polish with the zig zag remind me of a brightly coloured lightning bolt these polishes are so pretty definitely on my wish list for next purchase

I love the zig zag. Would be cool to see more of different ways to magnetize polishes. I always do the diagonal way because I don't know how else to do it.

Idk how short you like your undercut, but I use the Wahl finale thingy for mine and it takes the hair down to the skin pretty much and you don't have to use a mirror with it cause it only works on very short hair and leaves the long hair alone. It's an undercut game changer!

i enjoy your nail polish videos very much, but i love your eyeshadow application... the colors are spectacular. you should do videos on how to apply eyeshadow...

Omg getting an undercut when you have lots of hair is Iike unlocking a cheat code. I have a ton of hair and an undercut has made my life so much easier! I’m so glad it was a trend because I never would have thought to try it otherwise.

I’ve actually had iron deficiency anemia and my nails stopped growing so I started a new diet which includes lots of iron and now that my nails are growing out again I really wanna try reflective nail polishes they look so beautiful and I’ve tried magnetic nail polishes before they are so fun to use whoever came up with that is a pure genius lol loved ur review I love on shimmer now I have some gift thinking to do lol 😂 😂😂😂😂😂

Do you ever use liquid cuticle protector when doing nail art? If so, which brand/s would you recommend? Also, do you prefer the liquid over the pre shaped sticky tabs (sorry, I don’t know the technical name of them as I am not a professional nail technician)? Kelli, they make magnets that have tons of designs in them. It used to be a huge thing like 10 to 15 years ago. I had Sally Henson nail polish that was magnetic and came with a magnet on like a ring pop type of ring that would sit on top of it but they would do things like have squiggles. I've seen magnets on Amazon and other places online that you can buy that also have designs in them for nails

Wow, these are gorgeous! I can't believe how affordable they are too. I love that tool that has rectangles on the opposite end of the regular one. That looks amazing! I was just wondering if you could do a sandwich with the dark blue metallic and the light blue light reactive? Do you think it would work? I guess we could always try and see what happens because I thought you could do the light one on the bottom and the metallic one on top and use the rectangle tool to make the wavey one and see if it is still light-reactive as a sandwich. I've often wondered if it would work with regular polishes beside the Jellies. Hugs and Love Kelli!

Didn't realise that the magnet tool came from KBShimmer because I just saw it listed on Rainbow Collection's website and bought it there. Had seen magnet tools like this ages ago, just never had one so grabbed it as soon as I saw it. Then they listed the one with a stand but enough apart I had already placed my order.

I had legit just had the idea like last week to make myself a magnet stand like that, maybe 3D print something and put a magnet in it, so I could stop poking my polish and getting hand cramps from holding the wand! 😮

I grabbed the whole collection (plus more than I’d care to admit), and I love the zig zag magnet! I feel like KBShimmer is so underrated… they create awesome indie polishes at not much more than drugstore prices. Oh man… I also have an undercut just because I have so much hair. I really want to learn to maintain it myself, but I suck at working with a mirror like that. 😬

They aren't drug store prices here. They're £12.50 per bottle here whereas say Barry M who you can buy from their website or places like Boots or Superdrug sell their 10ml bottles for £3.99 for the colour polishes or that price for the 15ml versions of their base/top coats and a pound less for the 10ml versions. I think other brands are usually a bit more expensive than that, but they are terrible quality in comparison and have really boring finishes whereas Barry M keep coming out with new finishes you don't see elsewhere.

@@AlexaFaie purchasing from international stockists isn’t really comparable. This is a U.S. brand, and their prices are comparable to the nicer brands that can be found in drugstores here, though there are definitely cheaper options as well.

I think video always makes a difference because you can really see the polish in motion (and how it applies!) I'm really glad you find them helpful because I love making them haha!

I have been using Clearly On Top topcoat for a few years. It is a good topcoat, but the only negative about it is I get tip shrinkage. :^( I have short nails so I can't really wrap the tips with the topcoat without making a huge mess. But it does apply nicely and impart a beautiful glossy finish.
