For anyone who actually wants to understand what TMM is falling for against Yoshi: his 2,2 is -1 on block. For some odd reason, TMM keeps rushing in to get flashed. It’s not some fancy discord set up, it’s just TMM playing way too aggressively. Yoshi can cancel into KIN stance after 22 to try to mixup, but TMM isn’t allowing enough time to do any of that, so instantly flashing is actually the best option against how TMM is playing.

I also had trouble learning how to electric on controller but some advice I received on how to input the electric was doing forward-quarter-circle forward and when as soon as you tap down to do a quarter circle forward that's when you tap 2.

The players competitive skills in Tekken are off the charts. There is a significant gap of skill between high tier players like MainMan and the rest. I am hard stuck at orange ranks but I appreciate the time and skill other players have.

Got to reds a few days ago. Most of my loses are to jin, reina, and victor. As a kaz main its rough out there.

Pros reckon DVJ is worse than kaz because once you know the frames on his chain and mourning crow he’s easy to counter. He also has bad poke ranges and his best T7 tools were nerfed hard… not sure if the pros are right but we’ll see if DVJ gets any representation at the first tourney

I was thinking of maining kazuya in this game. Looking all of your guides and all but there is one thing that i dont get. Everytime i try EFWG i get only FWG. It says press simul but even when i check button in put it says im pressing downward triangle at the same time yet i dont get EWFG. What can you say to train it and execute it better?

In training look at your command history and see what inputs are being registered before downforwad + 2. Remember, the input sequence for an electric needs to be clean, meaning it should exactly be either: - F . DF + 2 - F . D, DF + 2 No directional or 2 input should be repeated. Also, Electrics execution requires muscle memory, which will only come from practice.

Just trying to figure out what im doing wrong where im doing wrong. The in put window is rahter tight i believe and maybe i enter slow?

@@ozymandias9920 The DF input is not repeated in command history right? Also you have to input DF while Kazuya is doing that inward step after pressing the forward button. You must not wait for it to complete. I play on hitbox and keyboard so it might differ for you, but what I do is after pressing forward I take a very small pause (less than even one second) and then input rest of the command. On controller if you are using the d-pad with your thumb, after pressing the forward button lift your thumb and re-position it for the downforwad input.

Ive hit a wall with my Kazuya. I cant do inputs consistently lol. Hell sweeps are flawless in training mode against a standing dummy. But I misinput 70% of the time in a real match unless I do the input slowly but then I get punished. Also still cant electric, im on ps5 controller.

I never played tekken 7-6-5 this is my first tekken in a long while. And I learned how to play yoshi from eyemusicians KZread. I heard about him from your video back in tekken 7. And I fell in love with yoshi. Now I’m passed brawler rank and hope to get better.

I get Ganryu today with Hwoarang. Is it a good rank or not? The players I consider good (fundamentals, movement, punishment) started to appear from Eliminator (one below Garyu). Sadly I have very little time to play. I start with 20 wins streak, now I have about 60% win.

What does he mean by "Quickstand"? What is the input?

You press "up" or "down back". Allows you to get up quickly to block lows or mids like Kazuya's ff+4 at the wall as seen in the video. TMM was abusing it as his opponents didn't know how to manoeuvre off the ground.

Hey mm this yoshi use the typical gimmick 2,2 -> no sword stance -> flash it leave him with -1 in close range so the no sword flash 8f pretty much hit you if you press anything you can either duck the second hit or just wait for flash and punish flash. It's kinda just a trick for the opponent to leave you alone after 2,2. If you had this knowledge check this yoshi probably doesn't take any round from you.
