    It's not that he's treated terribly is he was saddled with a bad gimmick based on stereotype. And to add on to your post, he left, became one of the biggest star in Japan and now returned for a visit

    They didn’t treat him poorly. They gave him a bad gimmick. He wasn’t a big name at the time. He was basically a nobody at the time. He was sent overseas to learn other styles of wrestling.

    The ending of this match was booked very well. Okada got to hit the rainmaker and have that big moment, but it was Shelley, a TNA guy, who got the pin. This would not have happened a decade ago. Glad to see TNA is back and they are pushing THEIR talent.

    The colour scheme is amazing on TNA. The red, yellow and black looks decent. The ropes give it such a different feel and vibe, I’m amazed more companies don’t change the sets/aprons/ropes/canvas etc.. depending on PPV’s and whatnot. The ring just looks awesome.

    It's cool that Moose is Okada's first match back in TNA. Okada was a big influence on Moose earlier in his career, to the extent that he started using a modified Rainmaker as a finisher for a time.
