Kaz and Inej a short I made. They are both human & seeing just how they struggle to reach out their hand is very realistic. They both have truamas and fears and hope's and a need of love from one another that runs deep. You can feel their emotions for one another. The fear of being unloved terrified them, but at least they did their best with what they had. That kind of pain that runs so deep is difficult, they see the world as a chaotic, cruel, terrible, unloving place that has only betrayed and taken from them relentlessly. Yet they also see the beauty in the world yet it's terryfying to them to love and lose. They see & feel within eachother the absence of chaos in their silence and their words, their love shared with every love, the beauty in the memories that they have, the security in the safety of eachothers soulfire connection, the hope they keep alive with every touch from their eye's, the trust they built overtime looking out for both their lives. The imperfect love that let's them know how they are diamond's to eachother and will one day know the pain of losing that love, yet they knowingly keep eachother in throught for they know that even when they die, they loved and thus they never lost at all for the love they shared with eachother was only for them to discover, to cultivate, to grow & to feel the pain of when they must let go not of the love they know, but of the connection they lovingly hold... @@thamarachaves5842 because in the book Kaz has trauma of the human touch. When he was a kid his brother died and he wouldn’t let go of him. He was even thrown away in the lake with all the dead people and he stayed there for days I think. So that’s why he wears gloves and that’s why he can’t tough anyone not even inej even tho he clearly has feelings for her. Inej doesn’t want to be touched too

@@thamarachaves5842 inej was a victim of s*x trafficking. When she was a kid the kidnapped her and sold her to Helen ( she’s in the show too ) and then Kaz bought inej and set her free. But she decided to work for him

@@priiifrg in the show yes. But in the books it’s not explained like that exactly. All I remember is that he payed for her and set her free idk if the debt is still not finished? Is that in the books ?

When Inej was healing her wound and Kaz was looking, clearly wanting to help but not being able to, my heart😭

so now my neighbours are deaf, this is okay- I AM NOT OKAY

Freddie is such a good actor I think he did great with kaz he definitely can act him out all right.

I live for the day Kaz says this to Inej in a possible continuation in the show. And Inej saying she will have him without armour.

this song together with kanej makes my brain and heart burst at the same time

the six of crows books happen a few years after shadow and bone, so there are some big spoilers for the ending! so i’d recommend starting with shadow and bone, unless you really don’t mind spoilers haha

i’m pretty sure that in soc duology they mention the ending of the whole shadow and bone trilogy, so if you’re planning to read s&b at all, i’d start there! and i’m not sure how the ending will be relevant to the show, they may change it or leave it, who knows
