Kali does this in a lot of her songs. Like "Killer". She is modern but without the autotuned, artificle excess of so many. She appeals to Old Negroes like me (63) who grew up on Motown, Stax and Philly soul and went to dance parties and understand and love music regardless of era. Peace out and I felt the same when I heard it and went to the video.

I can easily say why he deserved his Grammy, is because you can hear his music anywhere and not feel like "oh, this isn't appropriate for this place." I think a lot of his vibes are appropriate for any setting, and any place, at any time. His music is not intrusive, annoying, or crazy, it's just right, for anyone.

This entire album is like, the greatest thing ever. Thank you Kay for another album to jam out to for years to come.
