From what I have read, Baldwin appeared to be playing gunfighter with a real gun without checking if it was loaded, which takes almost no time to do. In his playing around, he apparently pointed at the decedent and pulled the trigger, killing her. He has been around guns enough in his career to know that you never, ever do this and did not need to be "educated" on gun safety. He just acted like a reckless anus. He should be putting on productions in prison.

The investigation continues, however the FBI said a week or so ago that the gun was not faulty and the trigger had to have been pulled for it to discharge. Something most of us already knew. At this point he should be booked on suspicion if nothing else.

It amazes me that nobody is talking about, as the producer on the set, and as an experienced actor who has used guns on set, Alec Baldwin ignored all safety protocols of gun use to maximize profit. As producer, to not have the armourer present at all times a gun is touched is gross negligence. To take the gun, regardless of who handed it to you and not clear the chamber is negligence. To point the gun in the direction of people and pull the trigger is negligence. Again, this is an actor experienced with guns on set, so he knew the protocols. If he was just the producer he should be liable for the hiring of non union workers when the regular crew walked off because of safety, particularly gun safety concerns, without addressing those concerns. Baldwin's behavior since the incident has been unconscionable. He has blamed everyone, but takes no responsibility. His wife claimed he has PTSD because of the incident, which only happened because of decisions he had to be a part of, if not the sole cause. He has displayed no compassion for the deceased and her family, the wounded and this family. Alec Baldwin is detestable, and anyone who hires him should be looked at with scorn!

Mr. Baldwin said he lost years off of his life after a family lost someone when he didn't even pull the trigger. And now, he can do this to another family that has lost someone. It looks like the man bounces back rather quickly from his own tragic events.

I pray to God that Mr. Baldwin can somehow gain some true humility because what he's done to this family is outright evil.... & a much greater man than he died in a war!?! Hello Bonnie, it is entirely possible and probable that todays teens LEARN all forms of DISRESPECT while at school and from their friends out in the street.
