Greetings from the Russian server! =) Why do not you use a combination of bubble trap + stillnes (under enemy in bubble) + purge + mana force? Damage from falling hits 40% health, and disarm does not give the goal to do drop back. And I have not seen boastful roar + crippling mire. Why? Sorry for my bad English.

What gear you recommended to use for this build, Plate, Leathe or cloth ?

Hmm, just avoid Melee from reaching you. For ranged its tricker but you have to feint them, by pulling and pushing, and try to get an EG off.

Nice vid man. How is it leveling as a Defiler? Seems slow and mana heavy for pve killing. Also was the mana stars only hitting for 1 a level thing because he was 10+ levels above you? Down to a few class choices for leveling, seems like stealth is a must for world pvp leveling due to zergs that I have seen on beta and with the honor loss in war time with a death not too thrilled about a punishment for getting ganked.

in options the preset camera is action, there's another option that I cant remember the name of now but I think it's cinematic or something. You need to select that instead of action

Donee Defense build + Lord armor + Heroic Buff Bonus + Magnificent Lake Set etc., You can reach around 20K without Lord Armor in lake cloth set, prioritize stamina gems etc, defense build.

Hey man, really love your videos. Since you are an expert at Archeage, I would love it if you had the time to answer my questions! Im currently lvl 40 playing as a Poxbane (Def/Song/Witch) and really like Songcraft. Is this at all viable at 50? I also played as Dark Aegis (Def/Song/Occ) for a while so my Occ is high as well. My real question is: What do you think is the most viable Songcraft build? Preferably in combination with either Def/Witch/Occ? Thanks!!

If you're thinking about being a healer them I would recommend Tomb warden (def/witch/sc) or (def/vitalism/sc). I wouldn't recommend songcraft for DPS unless you plan to utilize the stun haste boost with sorcery builds. :)

Myth Fame Thanks for your answer man! Im currently using Poxbane as solo lvling/pvp spec and dont even have the heals. I dont really like healing because I want to be able to 1v1. Do you think sorc/song is viable at all or should i just reroll Cabalist?Or maybe mix song with something crazy like battlerage? :D Cheers!

Kelp Kelp Actually song / battlerage would work as the damage on the hammer would still make your melee attacks do decent damage, try it out! :)

Hey Kay, really enjoy all your videos. I've been playing Battlerage but don't find it really my playstyle. So I'm swapping over to occultism and thinking of going Shroudmaster (Occ/Shadowplay/defense). I'm torn though between cloth or plate armor. I've been told if you take shadowplay you should be trying to do as much damage as possible, so cloth would be the better choice. However, I've also been told that since the Occ nerf, you need to have heavy defense to back up your lack of damage, so going plate, (which you demonstrated so well), would be better. Any advice? Sorry for the paragraph.

Adrus Enhancement I would never recommend going plate, any magic user will just chew through your HP in half a second. In cloth I can get around 32% (shield) unbuffed physical mitigation, and around 52% magical defense. If you wore plate you'd have a bit more physical mitigation but only 10-15% magical, unless of course you socket all your gems with magical defense. That would work but would cost a fortune since socketing is RNG. Also the cloth bonus, 30% reduction to debuffs, is really-really good. :)

tryust I hold down alt + the key, for example my purge is set on T. Alt by default will use spells on you, so when I hit T it uses purge on enemy, when hold Alt and press T it will use it on me.

Just watch my vids, you will see the sequence I use. It varies from situation to situation but the best thing to do is to practice in arenas once you get a decent amount of gear. :)

Babycakes I regret not moving to NA, but I'd also regret it if I was in NA. Just like I regret moving to EU, but I also would regret it if I wasn't EU. Reason being that the latency would make the game incredibly frustrating, I was playing with 300+ MS on Alpha/Omega servers in NA and I felt like ripping my hair out at times because of the latency. Also not to mention there is a 9 hour difference between our timezones.

How's that new video coming along? Also is Sorcery viable?

It's not necessary with full cloth, since cloth already takes you to the soft caps for mdef

Any class is good in the right hands, be it defiler or abolisher or primeval - just depends on the PLAYER, don't bottleneck yourself to thinking one class is good over another. I play defiler because it fits in my play-style of a defensive / cc mid range hybrid class.

Did you have any difficulties with a specific build( that counters Defiler hard)? Ps:I like the editing, nice video!

btw love your vids man! i played defiler in alpha but no one played it then atleast not the first months but i will be back for release and have to say your vids make me pumped to get back into defiler! I will swap occu for sorcery and then take occultism at 50 just becase i only need afew points in that and defense is nice to have when you level so its 50 the same time as witchcrafting :) anyway keep up the good work man! wish i had your editing skills btw my vids will look like shit compared to yours! ;)

Its not even really a nerf... Its just being balanced; because you should not be using it outside x2 or 3x combo anyway. (Especially since u also get reduced CDs and instant cast...) Wont even notice. So funny how 800 versions of the horrible Witch nerf is coming... Who really cares when most will have all trees covered by then anyway lol.Not to mention 55 later. The ones who are QQing over it should be obvious as to why...

PK is a smaller close-knit band of merry misfits that's been running together for years and although you might have been rejected it doesn't mean you can't join us. We aren't like majority of guilds who mass recruit everything in sight, we prefer to play more small, organized units with like-minded experienced gamers. That is why we have an application based system to ensure that we keep certain standards so that we can provide the best possible gaming experience for our guild members in dominating the end-game. It's also more fun for us being the underdog in games instead of mass zerging everything. So if you're really interested in joining PK, you will eventually find your way into it. :)

What I want to know is the gear scores of your opponents. If they're similar to yours, then holy shit you're a god. but if youre a 4k or a 5k 1v10ing 2 and 3ks then you're... kind of impressive but not nearly as much.

You've gotten better. Also, seems you deleted my comment on a previous video giving you constructive feedback. It was a step in the right direction dropping all those buffs since it cheapened everything about the video, but there are still a couple problems. I'm not seeing a lot of variety here. Duels are ok and all, but it's widely known that 1v1s in this game are not balanced at all. This is fine because it adds a lot of depth to group play, but using 1v1s as a way to gauge skill level is a bit inaccurate. Try showing us something more interesting and more demanding . . that's up to you on what that will entail. For entertainment purposes, you defiantly shyed a bit away from the common PvP video, which is good. Though you may want to go a bit more further away in your next video, since it was sort of . . . shall we say uneventful. Again, I'm interested in seeing what you will be like in a few months down the road after people begin getting geared without the ridiculous pre 1.2 archeum power boost players had against post 1.2 players. I would probably wait awhile to try at a "Look at my skill" video since gear is going to be in very high question for a couple months. It would also be nice to see you try something other than the Enverate->Mudhand combo that plagued the end time of Alpha.
