Blind bought and I absolutely love it out of all their collection. I like complex notes and their other ones are bit main stream. this one smells like niche to me, which is what I usually like. But definitely not for everyone, also fall/winter scent for sure. So glad I love it, I was bit nervous.🥰😂

I agree, this smells niche to me too. I think it has some complexity and much depends on the skin.

Lovely review. I can't wait to receive my bottle because everyone's experience has been SO different! This makes me even more excited about it rather than worried lol I never rely on reviews anyway nor trust ANY hype, with anything. I always just try it out for myself and go from there. I literally won't watch hype content and treat releases as in olden days where it was only hearsay of something new coming. I feel that hype ruins so many wonderful products/creations with potential. Just like with the beauty industry that BOOMED yet unfortunately was wrecked in so many ways, with KZread and social media, perfumery is heading in that direction and the exclusivity, the special and uniqueness of the art gets lost... *sigh*

I love it and what I get is a patchouli and Oud with some desserty sweetness in the back. The patchouli does have a slight chocolate vibe. Smells elegant and special to me but also like something many would hate. It does not project much on my skin but lasts quite long

Lovely review! I blind bought my perfume, it was love at first sniff, so sweet , creamy , I saw many reviews where many people are hating it or loving it but it’s so sweet on me, I can stop smelling myself, it’s for someone who likes to be noticed, smell delicious. I’ll buy back up of it. My expectation was very low after watching many reviews where they said it wasn’t sweet. Im so glad I bought it.

I honestly love it I’m about to buy a back up mini bottle since i blind brought the 50 ml. It’s reallly good for sure but not for everyone.

I was disappointed with the performance when I tested it. I feel like I'd reach for my cheap Rihanna rebelle before I'd reach for this.

I really like it actually and it lasted very well on me, too. It is not sth I would reach for very often though, only in deep winter and especially Christmas or New Year’s Eve 🍮

I just got mine and it’s one of her best fragrances

I love it so much. It’s my favorite Kayali so far. Plus my husband who is indifferent about my perfume nuances just ordered me a backup bottle. I get sweet sophisticated oud. It’s not a safe blind buy and definitely not for everyone.

I tried it at Sephora today and bought it immediately. I was surprised to find such a complex/niche type fragrance. On my skin it's not bold vanilla but that note of sugared patchouli reminds me the sweetness of Francesca Bianchi creations. I even thought they were inspired by her sticky fingers because of the extremely sweet patchouli. I am not into vanilla fragrances but this was excellent to me.

I had purchased a travel spray. To my nose it was a combination of Tom Ford Ombré leather & Replicas by the fire place. Not a safe blind buy, but does smell really expensive.

I got my travel size on the weekend. Very disappointed. All I get is wood . Where is the vanilla? I will let it macerate and revisit

Not going to run out and get it. Maybe in a few months I will try get a sample. In the meantime the Vanilla 28 is great for me. Thank you for the review.

I just got my review up too and have been dying to hear your thoughts! Imo, this is definitely a perfume that is so personal, everyone is getting something very different. It smells completely different in the air/on a tester vs my skin. Very strange!

I was really hoping for an Intense version of Vanilla 28. Doesn’t sound like it is so my money will stay in my pocket. I’ll get a sample to test out once the hype dies down. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It is very Smokey at first, I think the only way you’ll like it is layering with vanilla 28. The crème brûlée note is not very present and it’s well hidden, you may get a hint but that’s it. It’s quite heavy on the oud and patchouli in my opinion and not how it was described. A very overly hyped fragrance but florals are some people’s favourite that’s fine and oud lovers will love it but as a sweet gourmand lover .. it’s not something for me.

Sprayed it on in store yesterday and didn't really care for it. My bf noticed it when i got home and really liked it. He usually only likes vanilla scents 😂

The notes certainly sound good. But I’m done with kayali.

Hahahah there is no tea. I just don’t like them. I always get wrapped up in the hype train and then am disappointed. Most of them have a floral note that doesn’t work for me. And even the ones I like - vanilla, invite only, and burning cherry are not scents I need in my collection. I rarely reach for them. Plus they seem cheap like Zara. Not saying they are bad, I have plenty of cheap frags, but there is a little something about them that gets annoying, Just my opinion. If you like them enjoy!

What a bummer! If I get a chance to sniff in person I will but it doesn’t sound blind but worthy like you said.

I got a 10 ml and 50 ml . I tried the 10 ml & I didn’t get any Vanilla or Crème Brûlée just Patchouli & Oud. It dries down very smoky on my skin. The Oud overpowers any Gourmand notes. I’m not a fan of Oud. Dissapointed. May return the 50 ml or gift it to someone who likes it. It’s also has a masculine cologne vibe

Hi! Interesting that the oud is prominent on you. It seems many people get different things from this one :)

It’s a good like for me not a love. I did not get a fudge smell at all and on me and it lasted a long time. I took a shower and used an exfoliate and when I got out I could still smell it on my wrist. It’s more like a rum vanilla with a touch of patchouli for me when it dries down. I am not a fan of patchouli or Oud and I don’t hate it. I am glad I got the smaller bottle cause I know I won’t reach for it much.

I'm not that familiar with Indult...only tried it once, but from what I remember, they're VERY different :)

So disappointed with this one ! More like by the fireplace than a vanilla diorama ! Where is thé gourmand vanilla And crème brûlée ??? My best kayali is utopia

No, I don't think they're similar personally. This one is a blast of rum plus patchouli, oud, and leather, but still has some vanilla/gourmand notes that kind of sizzle in the background until the dry down. It's sweet, just not "gourmand" or overly sweet imo. I would highly recommend sampling or getting the 10 ml first bc everyone seems to get something different, even on my skin vs a tester strip it's very different. It has some notes of Vanilla 28 and Invite Only but still a different scent all together. But no, I wouldn't say this is similar to TF, although they may share certain notes. I remember Black Orchid lacking any sweetness/gourmand notes that this one has in addition to the more "challenging" notes. But that's just my opinion. Hope it helps :)

I've not tried Indult in a very long time, but just from memory, they're VERY different :)

😮 I just got my today all I can say I will just Stick with Kayali Vanilla 28 😢it was sooo strong my husband said I smell like Grandma

I tried for the first time on Saturday. I like it. Not a love.

I was drawing the same conclusion. It's not a need to have fragrance. They need a plum, spices, orris and amber sandalwood scent- or Oud, honey rose, and fruit or floral notes, with pink pepper, or black pepper...something sexy, right?? Sugared patchouli gives me basic amd commercial. Thanks for honesty!
