Good vid, I hunt out of Herters duck and goose boat. It’s very similar to a canoe except for it can hold an outboard motor and it’s about 14 feet long very stable. You have to use a push pole to get around most of the marsh tho.

Attached my spinner pole to it to put in deeper water

My father actually wants to try Kayak hunting but he’s worried about shooting in it, if it’ll flip any advice

I'd look into wider kayaks or even a canoe/kayak hybrid. They tend to be more stable. Also, you're going to be limited as far as shooting zones are concerned shooting out of a kayak. Swing too far in it and you can flip it.

2 words...inflatable decoys. I know most think theyre silly and useless, but when packing in theyre great, dont weigh as much, and more motion on the water.

@@HighPrairieSportsmen thanks for the tips on the kayak btw! Coincidentally enough i bought this exact model from a coworker and a sit in model. I cant honestly say ive ever even been in a kayal but hope to make one hunting and one fishing rig.
