You are welcome Rodney.
Just ordered four of them from watching your video. Got 4 for 10.00 bucks.

Nice. These are a much less expensive option than other cable guides for sale.
Never cease to amaze! Great idea!

Do you have an email address that you wouldn’t mind sharing? I have a couple of questions/ ideas I’d like to run by you, with pictures. If there’s a way to direct message on KZread, I don’t know how to do it 😮
I like how clean this is. I just picked up a 12t and will be installing foot steering. My question is why did you mount on the top of the rail? Would it work as well if I installed on the inside on the side?

Thanks Kelly. Yes you could mount it on the side but this was the best position for my set up.
Do you have the irrigation tubing going through the entire kayak hull from the entry to exit? Or just that little bit that you show on camera on each end? Thanks! Love the idea!

Thanks Kyle. The tubing runs the full length between the entry and exit points.

Thank you.
Nice re-purpose job!!!!!! Question? I think you may have cover this is a previous video. I would imagine that when you installed the brass tube into the nylon tubing you probably heated the nylon tubing a little on the end with a heat gun so when you pressed the brass tube into the mylon tube it flares the nylong tubing slightly and creates a nice flare on the end of the nylon tube. Love these videos. Keep them coming.

Thanks John. I did cover the brass insert in another video but just wanted to do it again in this one since it was related. You are correct, heating up the tube makes it easier to insert the brass piece.
A really neat solution. Do you know if the fittings are stainless? Figure they could well be if needing to handle sweat / skin contact on a guitar.

Thanks Murray. Unfortunately, I couldn't find ny in stainless. They are painted/coated so if you wash off after salt use then they should last. They are cheap enough to replace if needed.

They have nickle and chrome plated ones for salt water use.
Great video, how did you cut the threaded section of the guitar jack?

Thanks Craig. I put it in a vice and used a hack saw.
Awesome 😀 Amazing how well they work for that purpose almost as if the guitar folks stole it from the boating 🌎 world hahah 😆
