OMG, @Yohlanda Kerr, as I watched that portion of the video in how he made Kay feel so calm and relaxed, the tears instantly began swelling in my eyes (but because I’m at work), I didn’t let them fall because I’m in the main office and the public is constantly coming in…….but my heart was filled with so much love and gratitude for Devale because he is really there for his wife, NO MATTER WHAT

Blessed family.

Support can change a women's whole pregnancy experience. I got so emotional watching this video wishing I could have a do over. Wish I had taken my time in chosing the right person to have my seed with. I admire the whole tribe support system being their creating a positive atmosphere for the baby to enter the world and for Kay to feel the love and strength from each and everyone that was in the room. Having a doula and midwife is so much safer especially for us black women. The times that we're living in right now take no risk with you newborns. CONGRATULATIONS 🦋✨💙🌠👑 to your extended family. This whole family is a beautiful village of support and care, but it’s Mimi with the yellow rose petals for me! She already has 3 grandsons, but she’s as excited as if this were her first one. This little one will be surrounded by so much love!

Queen Kadeen grew and birthed all of these wonderful human beings, and King Devale held her hand and rubbed her back each time. Giving hugs and give fives along the way, as the family surrounded each New Baby with Love. Being a vessel for life is a complicated honor, it comes with great risk and sacrifice. Every loving hand is needed and appreciated, even if all you can do is put those hands together to pray. Feels very familiar to the Spirit, what a lovely and thoughtful reminder to share with the world. Thank you 🙏🏾💖

To witness this level of intimacy in childbirth is amazing. This is what couples should do. Watching them go through this together is what parter ship is about. Thank you both, for letting us in to this moment in your lives. I pray that it is impactful to couples of what commitment looks like.

Seeing Grandma’s excitement brought me to tears. “What do I do? What do I do?” ❤️❤️❤️

That moment when those contractions started kicking in and they was holding each other brought back alot good memories when my first born son came on 2/3/17... That bond is everything 😌❤

I’m tearing up over here. Seeing Kay’s strength in labor and the support from the family was beautiful. Praying for continued peace, protection and joy for the family and healing for Kay.❤️❤️

Congratulations Ellis Family!!!! Kay is a "G". She handles pregnancy, labor and delivery like no other. May God continue to bless your family.

The green dress moments were it for me. I realized it was contractions!...that was huge because I thought they were just hugging and doing movements that are helpful during this time. Imagine how soothing it must be to have your mate and midwives' supporting hands guide you thru some of the most painful moments or hours.

I never thought I'd want anyone to be pregnant forever! This was such a beautiful journey! Thank you for allowing us this experience! Blessed on Blessed on Blessed and 1 more...Blessed!

Throughout this whole journey we laughed, smiled, and cried. All of this was soooo beyond beautiful! We appreciate you guys for including us. I love this family. I’ve given birth to four live children and lost one pregnancy and did them all alone. This is such a beautiful blessing and it gives me hope for my daughters. I wish I’d had this example before I had children.

I say this often, far too many African Americans both male and female haven't seen healthy mature relationships to know what healthy looks like, feels like, it's important to learn to emulate those characteristics in their own relationships to CREATE HEALTHY Relationships.

How supportive you are of your wife brought tears to my eyes. I love this comment and wanted to add that K is giving him what men desire.... Respect, Love and sex on a regular. Women fall short in how we treat our men also. I just want to point out that they are EMOTIONALLY CONNECTED( that's a different love right der). That is the part, ALL women want and it is so beautiful to see with black love. We need more of these examples from men and women in the world.

I do want to say that I believe that women would be more willing to have sex on the regular if they didn’t have so much on their plate. A lot of women take on most of the responsibility at home & with the kids, so if men could learn to help out more, I can promise that women would be more willing to have sex on the regular ☺️

@@sakitacastro7143 lol. No ! Her mother is Jamaican and father is Vincentian. She and Devale often refer to her as Jamaican. So, she could have been born in Jamaica before they emigrated to the US. Trinidad don’t come anywhere in this.
