Our great Kowdiar palace.... There is more to see inside. From the entrance to all areas, from each and every floor tile, to all what is there inside is worth crores. First lift which is made of wood and still it's working, is there inside this palace.Olden times they used to use it. The costly Raja Ravi varmas original paintings clad all walls. Most of the urns, tiles are all exquisite imported from Italy. The main gate ie entrance is a cast iron gate which was imported and made to order from England. Many more antique thing's are there to see. Anyway another thing is, the room which u sat, there right on the floor, right in front of the chair which thampuratti sat, there at that place on the floor, Mahatma Gandhi sat down, when he came to visit our old Maharaja. Maharaja Sri Chithirathirunal sat on the same chair and Gandhiji sat on floor right in front of him in respect. . Me and my brother is close to two Prince of the palace and we have seen most of it. So if you can hop in again, you may ask about the lift etc..... Great video,enjoyed the talk of thamburatti....We are happy that we are living in Trivandrum a beautiful place made by Travancore Royal Family and very proud to be a Trivandrumite🌹 Our Trivandrum a Royal place to live🌹
