Kawasaki ZX10R vs Suzuki GSXR 1000 Dyno Shootout - Moore Mafia

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Moore Mafia headquarters was lucky enough to get a Kawasaki ZX10 and a Suzuki GSXR1000 booked for the dyno on the same day. So you know we had to see which motorcycle made the most horsepower and torque before and after an ECU Flash.

Showing how specific bolt on parts influence power curves is very helpful in deciding which parts to buy. I also love the race videos with footage in the pits showing all the extra tools, parts, and knowledge it takes to win, but those are more entertainment only.

Ninja could make more with a 'longer' system....that M4 along with that CAT box just kills HP.....however as is sounds 20X better than the GSXR..big bore .Ninjas always have this very distinctive deep roar..especially the ZX10 ! The Ninja will make more everywhere w/ a better exhaust system ..heck that M4 slip could be a Chinese knock-off...they are everywhere.

Both cars line up at set speed and hit it on go. Roll racing is more so to get rid of the variables to see what both cars are capable of without driver error.

I believe your showing dyno inertia between the bikes . That would imo indicate rotational weights of the crank / rods if there wasn’t tire slip on the pulls. Given the presented info , I’ll take the Kawa and a couple of sprocket teeth. Great video👍 The dimpled throats should help keep the fuel in suspension and aid in chamber swirl. I've seen bikes on the dyno get blown up by not pulling in the clutch quick enough at redline. The dyno is still spinning up faster even though bike is at redline, which over revs the motor and grenades it. Same thing happens with cars if clutch or next year isn't selected quick enough. Gotta be on point or that new bike will have destroyed top end.

I have always been a GSXR fan there is ather stuff that can be done. I had a 93 GSXR that was crazy fast we took the slowest GSXR ever made and ran midd 7's with it in the quarter mile And I road it as a daily driver. It's best was 7.42 at 179 mph it would have been much better than that if it had a way I could have ran full throttle in 1st 2end and 3rd gear I could not use full throttle till 4th gear so it would have been much faster with a set of bars and swing arm. It had a 1549cc kit and a lot more work. So putting a pip on one is cool but less see one with a kit that makes it crazy fast.

Depends what you're looking for.... stunt riding mt-07 easy.. but for daily, rides and knee drags.. 750!

I'm a gsxr guy and the new mt-07 and 09 are sick.. and have a good price range.. even the 2019s are around 6k-9k depending on the dealer/seller.. which would be 3k-8k cheaper then the gixxee

Same bore & stroke just the difference of bigger cams vs big cams. Always a compromise,, add a few up top & they magically disappear from the mid
