At 9000 rps that engine truly wakes up to the point the back-wheel starts to squirm. But the Dunlop Roadsport II are actually good tyres. Ride em 4000 miles in all kind of bad rainfall. Roadsport 1 tyres on the Z800 was dangerous with lots of traction issues. What makes z900 great bike is the smoothness and its progressive nature. And that intake noise is so fun to listen to when riding.

Hi Sunil the old z800 have alot steeper angle over the handlebars. New Z900 is semi upright and you get no weight on hands and arms. At acceleration or +90km/h you need to lean forward to brace against the wind and acceleration slightly. I done 900 kilometer or 560 miles on one day and only caused num butt. It took about about 12 hours to ride with some rest stops along the way. So you can certainly do long tours on new Z900. I sold my Z800 brand new because seating position was causing wrist pain.
