Kawasaki Prairie 700 build ( part 2)....Super clean!!

After 3 long months of working in the pockets of my day this build in finally done!!! Definitely had a great time building this thing from an old tired bike in a barn to a a monster Kawasaki prairie to be proud of. The radiator relocate was probably my favorite part since ive never built one and it came out awesome! If you enjoyed please give a thumbs up and subscribe.
Thanks for wathcing!!

@@CountryTraditions sweet can't wait for the new video there is not a ton of videos online about the prairie 700 and there is none in creeks or water crossing showing how they do in the water maybe you can do a video sometime of you testing the snorkels. The mechanical water temp mod is my next task seems fairly reasonable todo and let's you know your Temps instead of relying on the dummy light. I literally just replaced the head gaskets on front and rear cylinders from the previous owner running it out of coolant it blew the coolant restricter going thru the carbs and he didn't know. I wanna protect myself from that .sorry for the long comment

@@brianharvey1803 no worries man. yea youll see in the one of the newer vids i thought i sank it the first 2 min out lol but i was running water in high gear barely giving it any gas and there wasnt enough back pressure from the exhaust so. I thought maybe electrical at first but ran in low the rest of the time and no issues. Only other problem was the 30s made the ass end float so bad i would float and catch the side of a deep rut and she wanted to go right over. Got some good video of that too haha. once i get some more ran here at the farm im gonna do a snorkel video.

My only question is this. How much use have you had with it in this configuration now. I'm wondering how well the differentials, axles, and drive shafts are holding up to a 30-in tire. I also wonder how well the CVT system is enjoying it. I can imagine you could just leave it in low range with tires that size for the sorts of things you'll be doing. Which that would greatly help to CVT system. But the axles differentials and drive shafts are going to see added stress. I would very much like to put 30-in tires on my prairie. Got 27s on it right now with no rubbing but got a 2-in lift on the way and currently building my radiator relocator right now as the OEM radiator got busted. I also read somewhere in the comments about a 4x4 lever I'm definitely interested in learning more about that because the electronic system on here sucks.

So far I haven't broke any axles but the fronts are definitely tiny and will be the first to go. With the upgrade on the belt and keeping it in low range ive have no issues. The 4x4 lever/cable is made by knight, def worth the $ Its all about how hard you beat on something. Drive it smart and break less. Just send it all the time and break more stuff, up to you on how you want to ride

What size jets did you end up needing? Snorkeling mine tomorrow. It runs well stock, hoping I won’t run into any carb issues after snorkeling. Also are your wheels and tires 30x10? Planning on running canam outlander stocks.

I honestly dont remember. I bought a kit with a bunch of them. Definitely snorkel then jet because it will effect the jetting with the changed airflow. 30x12 rear and 30x10 front

Don't need to relocate the radiator. It's covered on the sides and protected. Had a 2004 myself.

I've got an '03 right now I'm relocating the radiator on. Radiator was plugged up, near impossible to clean out, and then finally somehow got a magical stick that came straight up from the bottom and busted a hole in it. Since I have to tear the bike apart to get to the radiator it might as well get relocated
