Enduro21 takes the 2023 Kawasaki KX250X for a weekend in the woods and a typical time card enduro. What happened? How did this MX-derived bike deliver at a traditional enduro? What worked? What didn’t? Find out in our ‘Real World’ bike test walk around.
The idea is to do a more of these videos on the Enduro21 YT channel - talking through the bike test rather writing it down as we traditionally have on the website.
Real World? Basically that means being more open and visible with the bike test report. We took the bike away from the guys in green shirts, rode it and here’s what happened. It’s as simple as that. Let us know in the comments what you think.

Great review! I'm super happy with mine. Added larger tank, handguards, oring chain, and spark arrester insert for the exhaust.
I have a 22 kx250x. My favorite bike so far. It has a very comfortable feel. The suspension and ergos are superb. You can putt around or ride real aggressive and it performs. It does everything well.

Agreed, all the reviews I have seen have been wide open gncc stuff...... Nothing like our stuff over here. Great review 👍

Looks like similar idaho terrain. Pretty sure my kx450 could travel to uk from idaho and feel comfortable
I want one so damn bad. Went and looked at one today. Didnt buy it tho. I have a hard time choking up 10,300$ to beat the piss out of a bike in the woods…. Hurts my heart lol. Guess ill keep bombing around my 06’ kx250f.. hard machine to enduro but im gettin it done
250X has terrific stock clutch in my opinion. I tried bib mousses on my Beta, not a fan going back to tubes.
Ive also read that the foot pegs and handlebars are adjustable for height... I wonder if thats different to the f version
Hey you have alittle bit of idaho on that bike. The fastway spark arrestor endcap. Fastway is local to me. I ride 22 kx450 not x. knarely slow stuff to desert whoops. Plenty comfortable Suspension with lots of play full fire in her belly . I did a 12/52 gearing to slow her down Awesome awesome bikes
Decrease your sag and add rebound damping to the forks. Also drop the forks through the yokes a bit more.
Could this bike be a good beginner Dirtbike?
your under steering in the turns because your rear wheel is too far forward
