I did the exact same thing. Moved into the KRX when I was considering long travel suspension for the teryx 4 and never looked back. I immediately threw on 35s with all the bells and whistles and spent last weekend in wind rock. Without a doubt I made the right decision. Nice machine!

Never really been a kawaski guy but i saw these in person at my local dealer and they look so sick in person! Kawasaki absolutely knocked it out of the park as far as looks go. The lugs on the tires are insane. If i bought a sport side by side i’d definitely go with a kawi or canam maverick. Maverick for speed and kawi for trails.

Matter of fact, looks like a mini version of Grave Digger! LOL, I was wondering though are you still loving it? I myself am torn, not about whether I like your ride or not, but I'm torn about which way to go, KRX or Can Am, which one to buy?...Shock Therapy said the KRX is the best built machine (balance, frame, design, etc.) and I agree, I think your machine is a prime example of that! Beefy, but sleek and trail ready at the same time! Anyway, I hush, just really do like it, was curious how youre feeling about it now, any regrets? Is it lacking anywhere, do you wish you would have done anything different? Anyway, thanks for the insight, the walk around....nice job, nice machine!

Nice looking machine and upgrades. I have a blue 2021 and VFJ tune and stock tires. I was trying to determine if going to RCO weights would add any off the line acceleration with stock tires or maybe 32" tires. • @RandomGuyStuff

RCOR weights make a huge difference even when running stock tires. I had them installed before I added the 35” tires. Biggest difference is the power is felt all the way through the acceleration and doesn’t have that flat spot you feel as the clutches are winding up from factory weights.

Top end hast changed on the speedo. I rarely find myself anywhere that I can reach top speed before needing to turn, climb a hill, or hit a tree. Strictly eastern KY trail riding so far. The biggest motivator for the ecu and weights upgrade was to eliminate the sluggish takeoff. The weights did that before I even got the tune installed. The tune simply allows the machine to get more ⛽ whereas the factory program limits the amount of gas you have available at higher speeds.

I am running the weights bare right now. It was the fast ramp up that I was looking for. Now that all the other projects are done I am going to do more experimenting with the weights. I liked it so much after the first few runs that I never changed it. Could be better setups, but I haven’t tried them yet.

Does your KRX get hot inside the cab with the front and rear windshield on?

Yep, , but in all fairness it also gets hot with only front windshield, and no windshield. Lol. Unless you isolate and wrap the radiator hoses it gets hot under me all setups.

On hot summer days, I don't think my front and rear windshield will be getting much use. You absolutely need the air flow if you don't want to cook alive.

I got mine from Kentucky Metal designs and fabrication. I think they call themselves Kentucky metal design and powder coating now.

Too heavy and underpowered. 👎… nice machine but…. Needs more displacement and/or turbos.

It's definitely not a light machine, but it's more of a bull than a cow. it is geared just right for the extra weight. For the areas I ride, it's a great setup but will leave the speed racers wishing they had a Polaris or Canam.

I think that deters alot of potential buyers, but most people will never see the dunes much less ride them. For trail riders, most would never need the speed of a canam turbo. The KRX is extremely capable from the factory and many would agree there is not another machine out there that rides as comfortably. What it lacks in top speed it makes up for in handling and suspension.

@@RandomGuyStuff That's why I'll purchase one. All my friends are buying turbocharged units but all we do is heavily wooded trails.
