    @Mid Nebraska Motorsports Just wanted to post an update for all the users of this channel and most importantly you guys. This video was VITAL to the success of my very first carb rebuild ever (besides stupid weed wacker parts). The detail and suggestions and "watch outs" you show and discuss in this video are exceptional. Doing a dual carb as your first job is probably not suggested. But because of this video my 2003 650 purrrrrrs like a f@&#*?! kitten. I can't thank you enough for videos like this. Please continue your incredible work because your videos are the best in class for these quads. Thank you so much for real!!

    Did some "upgrades" w dynatek and thus needed bigger dynojets, and fell flat on its face. Running ridiculously lean, needs 1/4 choke to stay alive. Ordered new pilots, but any other thoughts? Hands down one of the best YT vids ive seen, from decades of watching. Thx and new sub for sure.

    Excellent video, very thorough! I finally sourced stainless hex head screws for the Keihin CVK carbs; work great on my BF 650 for the float bowl, Slide cover, and air cut valve covers. Lowes/Home depot don't seem to carry replacements. May look at selling them as a kit once I get things sorted out on pricing. Amazing how much dealerships want to charge for just one screw! Do you know anything about why guys are blocking off the coolant lines that go into the carb assy?

    Ohkay so I need advice on mine. 05 brute force 750. Aftermarket HMF exhaust. That's it. What jets do I need to install in front an rear carb. Rn it is idling fine. 1/4 throttle it starts hesitating and backfiring . Also what air fuel mixture turns do i need to do to each carb. Help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

  • @JohnSmith-sf8gj

    My 05 750 BF is very lean on the front cylinder and will only run with the choke on. I'm struggling with the front carb float height as it isn't getting enough fuel. It's getting better but removing the carbs a dozen times gets tiring, and it's hard on the choke cable boots. 2 questions: is the pilot jet open all the way through because mine doesn't seem to be? Also, at 13:41 there is a cap with 2 screws which is part of the deceleration circuit. Do you remove this and its diaphragm before the ultrasonic cleaning? Thanks!

  • @SwormCycles
    @SwormCycles2 жыл бұрын

    Good vid but I have read to actually remove the air bleed restrictor valves from the diaphragms to increase performance. Do you ever do that and if so is it the tiny brass piece in the tab of the diaphragm? You don't mention this at all in the vid. Thanks

All stock except a dynatek cdi. Planning to clean carbs and replace muffler. Would you recommend a re-jet or air fuel adjustment to compensate for the cdi? Any other thoughts or recommendations? My (08 I think) 750 Teryx has been sitting for several months. Cranked on it for a while, finally pulled breather cover and breather gave it a little shot of gas and it fired right up. Had to use the chock for a minute or so, then it would idle put its popping back thru one or both carbs, not sure which since I put the breather back together before driving it. I'm assuming the carbs are likely needing cleaned out. Which your video will be very helpful. On another opportunity I have with it was t he belt was trashed a year or so and after replacing the speedometer doesn't work now. It always shows 0. I have one wire that's loose not plugged up close to the fuel tank that I didn't remember taking loose when the belt was changed. The one for the speedometer (reference from the manual) is plugged up. Any suggestions?

    New subscriber. I have a Teryx 750 2008 it has these same carbs. Yesterday I pulled it from the back yard into the garage and it started smoking bad from the front cylinder. The engine oil was full of gas. The front carb malfunctioned. I replace the engine oil and filter. Removed the float valve and cleaned the jets. Should I replace the float valve and float in the front carb? At idle I see fuel getting by the main jet needle if I push on the slide it stops.

    Like the video says. If you machine won't idle, you've got issues with you pilot jet. Typically turning it up isn't gong to fix your "no idle" issue. Now if your idle is too low .... turn it up. And you do that by the knob coming from the bottom of the carb. If you'd like us to go through your carbs, hit the link below.
