I knew a couple of songs before watching the video, wasn't aware of the fact they all play all the instruments seamlessly. And God, their energy, their passion... They have freaking FUN every single minute they are on stage. This is MUSIC at the heart.

Hello I'm from the UK, but out of there for over 50 of my 80 years. I was in Germany and missed Katzenjammer during the wonderful concerts of the uniquely lovely Katzenjammer, something I will regret for the rest of my life. Thank you U-Tube for making possible the nearest thing to reality that I can imagine. And thank you forever Katzenjammer, a team of top musicians who have portrayed their love and expertise in music that no other group has come near to achieving. You have given me years of pleasure, in particular your concerts in Hamburg. I hope you are all happy in your lives all these years after. I'm more than happy to have access to your talented personalities. I play you often and never tire of you all. What a wonderful group based as it is on good music -AND FUN!!!

I love this band for so many reasons. They're so damn talented and creative. They all share instruments and the spotlight. They have an eclectic arsenal of instruments and they create such a unique style of music that I've never heard ever before. Seriously, they each learned how to play like 15 different instruments. Granted, it translates easily once you learn music theory, it's still impressive as shit.

Stunning musicianship, singing (harmonies), songwriting, and such magic attitude - they're clearly having a lot of fun!

I am a lucky nearly 80yrs old who has watched the early sixties Beatles and Stones right through till these present days. Nostalgia in each ten year period which I hope never to forget. Regrets yes but the reality is we have been the lucky recipients of all these periods. I say enjoy it while it's at it's best and hope your memory hold out. I'm a lucky boy with a vast memory of the last sixty years of great and changing music; --for which I thank the world and the technology which has progressively aided me to gain access to it. happy listening, Jack.

I must have watched this show 10 times at least simply because the sound mixing on most of the others are so bad it's practically unwatchable. One I watched I couldn't hear the piano at all. This is probably once of the best mixed shows of any band I have ever seen. Outstanding work.

I love these girls! So talented - they can play any possible instrument and sing like angels. Bravo.

The level of energy... the skilled and seemingly spontaneous switching back and forth between deliberately misleading intros and then from one song into another... The outrageous constant *teasing*!... God, I wanna get to see them live someday!

Such presence, all of them, such burst of energy. I'm amazed at all this freedom in so many aspects. Great musicians these beautiful women

Die Musik der Ladies ist erfrischend, frech, melodisch und modern. Ich muss das Video einfach wieder und wieder hören. Heute Nacht habe ich durch Zufall das Hamburger Konzert, ich glaube auf ZDF-Theaterkanal gesehen. Eigentlich war ich müde, aber plötzlich hellwach. Ich habe mitten in der Nacht mitgedanced und kam mir vor wie in meiner Jugend. Danke Medels, bitte immer weiter so !!!

First time i hear them and I´m shocked with the energy, talent and virtuosity, become a fan from this time on, and amazing group.

Just noticed this performance is ten yes ten years old, how on earth have I not seen them before, they are incredible, I feel like I have been living inside a bubble, what happened to such talented ladies.

I love how they're all masters of each instrument, and each of them takes a turn on the drums, vocals, piano, and guitar between songs.

Land of Confusion, at 38: 00 - One of the most remarkable covers I've ever heard !!! Cannot get enough of it. The lead vocal is exquisite !!!

This is simply fantastic! I love how they can do vibrant songs with amazing melodys. Also each song of them has kind of an identity, it's not like some artists who repeat the same formula over and over again!

this is my favorite of my newly discovered bands, i probably found them about a year ago on Pandora, and I've loved every minute of music i've listened to from them ever since.

Why hasn’t the world heard more from this bunch of beauties - all musically multi-talented and all having fun..!

saw Katzenjammer live in May 2012 at the Elbjazz Festival in Hamburg, just a few months after this show. These girls are phantastic! many thanks for sharing! even though I bought this concert as a BlueRay, its available on DVD too.

Sorprendente,.. son todas buenas!!!, tienen todo, saben muchisimo de musica, se divierten, tienen mucha energía, tocan excelente varios instrumentos, hacen bien los coros, bien las transiciones, tienen un carisma hermoso,... tienen oficio,.. porque para que salga así, lleva muchas horas de ensayo...excelente show!!!!

Enthousiasm, connection with the audience, not only the common instruments, multi skilled, multi genre, own repertoire, variety in each song, no simple lyrics, the women show to enjoy the show themselves.
