Katy doesn't take everything seriously...shes so fun and creative. I like that a lot about her, and Im so excited for WIG and her show!

O RG difference is britney did it in her 30s, not 60s. she changed how vegas residencies are seen since it was always a place for “retired” stars to go to

For sure. Some of it has to do with their kids though. Even Adele, arguably the biggest music-seller at the moment who could easily sell out stadiums, has stated her preference to not tour with a young child in tow. They want to stay put in one place.

There are plenty of artists from this era touring stadiums though. Ed sheeran, Adele, Beyonce, Lady Gaga will be soon, Taylor swift and I can see all those artists continuing to do stadiums throughout their careers. Britney is a cultural icon in many ways though, even if she doesn't sell the same.
