Everyone is wondering how we came up with such a cover "mash-up", so I figured we would explain what spawned the idea. Years ago we use to cover T.A.T.U.'s "All The Things She Said". It was always a crowd favorite at shows and we had always talked about recording a version of it. Years went on and we took a break from BSD. When we put the project back together in January 2011 we started discussing new covers that we could incorporate into the live set. We were concerned that playing "All The Things She Said" would no longer be relevant and that we needed to find something new and current. After hearing Katy Perry's "E.T." we noticed the similarities between the two songs and thought it would be a great idea to mix the old with the new. Hope you enjoy our creation from two great pop songs!

@@lunaJinx007 sorry to hear that you were bullied. Fortunately we're living brighter times (not everywhere tho) for lgtbi+ community. There's still a lot of work to do. I guess this version loses that point and makes the song more about obsessive love or something like that.

I'm a HUGE t.A.T.u. fan and so far I have not found one cover of any of their songs that I think are worth listening to... Until now. You sound amazing!

This mashup version is amazing love it
I really really like this mashup of songs because it sounds like a love story. "E.T." is the lover who I'd privileged or at least a popular person and known for only good things, and falls in love with a person most people wouldn't think to fall in love with. They'd fall in love with a person who probably has a bad rep in a way like crime, mob, or something as simple as a player, one of those things. And "All the Things She Said" is the other lover who's troubled and has never really been shown either romantic attraction (because mob/crime everyone would be scared and want to steer clear of getting close to them) or genuine interest (because player, only for the pleasure). Whatever the second lover is (mob or player), they've never met someone like the first lover and constantly thinks about them, their words engraved into their mind, and they're struggling to understand the feeling of falling in love that they're getting for the first person. Idk, that's just how I see it... It's a cute ship dynamic, honestly 😂🥰
