Katy (Katherine) Haber was Sam Peckinpah's personal assistant on eight of his films, starting in 1970 with Straw Dogs until Convoy in 1978. She also worked as associate producer and second unit director for Peckinpah.

One of my favourite directors
It takes strong people to deal with people who have mental issues. He probably had PTSD and other issues. This woman was kind and so helpful to Sam but didn't get the respect she deserves. The most creative people have demons that stop them from really being taken seriously.
Great interview thanks for posting this ive been studying Peckinpah's films for a film writing project im doing.
