I didn't understand Tamil but I made this Eggplant (you guys call it Aubergines or Brinjal) curry by following the video and OMG what an amazing dish it turned out to be... The method and taste is a bit different to how we Sinhalese make. Honestly I like this dish better. Thanks again Sissy..

I like the way you cut the stem of the aubergine, not in a hurried manner. Aubergine and chillies, fresh from the garden into the pot. This is also one of my favourite dishes. I don't fry the aubergine, I saute it with the onions, tomatoes, shrimps and all other similar ingredients and cook. It tastes so very, very good. There is no need for any other dish. You have done it a bit differently purely vegetarian. I will try your method when I cook aubergine next. Kulambu looks very tasty, I also put bit of sugar, this takes out the tangy taste from tamarind and tomato. As you have mentioned we all know how to make this curry, even though I love to watch your cooking. I put little roasted funnel powder , end of the cooking.I have learnt from others, it gives a good flavour. Ranjani Kangatharan
