I think quite a few people (comedians offended) found Katt Williams difficult to work with simply because he stands firm to his principles and people find it annoying. They (Hollywood/entertainment industry) tried to destroy Chapelle for the same thing multiple times. Katt sees the value in himself and defines himself as being equal to those who invest in him. It's the same reason musicians prefer to be independent, because those who can help launch your career, end up putting things in place to make sure that they benefit more from it, than the artist themselves. Kevin Hart is hard working, but he compromised his core principle for more opportunity, and he can never deny it (ie. why he is easier to work with)

Probably the best assessment of this moment I’ve seen. Hyperbole, humor, and facts.

Respectfully Katt was not lying about Kevin in my opinion. Katt's career as a comedian started with the Improv and the Ice house. Meaning Katt was making a name for himself in the East coast as well as in the West . Kevin Hart's breakthrough happened in hollywood even though his upbringing happened in the East as a stand up comedian. It just seems as if Kevin is more connected in the industry than Katt. One great example of a powerful connection he could have used is P Diddy and Katt is not friends with Diddy there's videos on that too. I do not think it's about who is easier to work with but I do think it's about who is more likely to fold. After what happened to Dave Chappelle and the Chappelle show I'm convinced by what Katt says about Kevin.

The average cost of a movie today that gets released in theaters today is north of 100 million dollars, not including marketing. A very well off man like Katt Williams has about 40 million to his name. Amazing, much more than you but still not enough to fund a private movie.
