Here what ive noticed about Dave Chappelle thats different than most comedians. He doesnt tell jokes . He talks about contraversial things with funny things around it. His timing is impeccable. His delivery is unmatched. He will talk about a situation in a comical way.

For example, did you know Trayvon Martin was simply the beginning for a U.S. Homeland Security Policy Effort that needed to be critiqued? Probably not. Why? Because they don't want you to know. And yet, this video has a million views as people go on about their daily lives. And yet, here it is "Super Bowl Weekend"....where media is about to launch a bunch of meaningless advertisements....to dumb society down. Whereas, what American People really should be doing....IS PAYING ATTENTION TO PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES and the SIDE "KICKBACK" POLICIES THEY ARE GIVING EACH OTHER. But what do I know? I'm just a university-enrolled black guy "that's not a TV" and "therefore" considered uncool....by his own Black Community.

M Wes Oh for sure I've seen Chris Rock. He's a comedy legend and a really smart, educated dude with a lot of valid points to make. If you haven't seen the Martin Luther King Jr episode of the Boondocks, than I suggest you check that one out. Most real shit that anybody has ever said. "Is this it? Is this what I got all those ass whoopins for?" King looked out on his people and saw they were in great need, so he did what all great leaders do. He told them the truth. Nothing makes me more mad than to see his sacrifices being made to be worthless. I'm not even black and it makes me mad. He was a great man and deserves more respect than this world gives his memory. Sure, they say they believe, but they don't APPLY it. It just becomes another excuse to celebrate... another reason to party. I don't know if you believe in religion or not, but Jesus was the same deal. He'd be flat out ashamed of the world we live in today. Seriously man, if you lived near me, we'd probably be best friends, because there's no attitudes I hate worse than complacency and dismissiveness. I hate people having excuses to not think, and not try. I agree with everything you've said, flat out.

He went to a restaurant my son works... My son was his waiter and called me and said ..... You would never guess who's here... Dave Chappelle is the funniest comedian of all time. I know this because when i went and saw him live, he had no material prepared, he came out, sat on the edge of the stage, lit up a smoke, and just started chatting and conversating with everyone like he was a friend. It was the most Ive ever laughed in my life. A comedian that doesnt need jokes or punch lines to make you laugh, just naturally funny with every word he says..has to be the greatest of all time.

Ive always felt he got a bad rap. I agree that Dave Chappelle is the absolute pinnacle of the mountain but its a big ass mountain and Katt is definitely near the top.

Let's be clear. The mental imagery he used to describe Africa is a collaborated effort by America's main stream media to plant the thought of what is going on the mother land. Hell that;s ignorance , you don't exaggerate with things like that, when the media have been doing a lot of misinformation to the world about Africa. Would you like it if some one says to your mum before she gave birth to you that she was a whore? When you know she never was. Would you say that, that person was exggerating to prove a point? With the lie and misinfo. about Africa , the last thing we want is such ignorant nonsense. Many African countries has modern facilities not what he see on movies and news reports. Again South Africa is where Chappel went and those people are as industrilized as any western nation. He should go ask Chappel if SA was roadless and without water. Ewaen Idemudia thank u you're so right. People have such a negative opinion about Africa. Sure there are lots of poverty in Africa but that does not mean everyone there is broke and helpless. Many people live there comfortably with no issues but the media has planted negative thoughts in our minds about Africa.

Kat is a genius plan and simple.

Steve Harvey didn't like Bernie Mack... He was Jealous that Bernie got Bad Santa, Oceans and the T.V show. He tried to get the producers to take those parts from Bernie. That's what Katt was touching on in the beginning of the interview.

What was the last phrase? “Heavy is the head?” Crown reference?

Facts baby! More power to Dave Chappelle!! For standing your ground, and keeping your dignity! You kept your brand clean, and didn't allow money $$ dictate your person and most importantly he kept God almighty at the forefront of his life! Thank you Dave for being a pillar of our foundation!

People have to understand that yes he maybe wrong about most parts of Africa but what he saying is true. The man doesn't need to leave his own yard to smoke crack when he can drive down the street go to motel hotel or car and handle business there. SMH people have to understand at the end of the day they did pick him apart in the media and the way they went in on him they made it seem like he was gone for months when in fact according to Dave he was gone for two weeks. I loved the show just as much as anyone else, but if this is what truly happened then I I'm glad dude didn't settle for less .

I was in the Army stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso from 08 to 2010. Katt was doing a lot of shows at a local club. A lot of soldiers would go to Dennys some mornings a few minutes off post. Katt came in where it was full & 99% military. He paid for every soldiers breakfast that morning! He’s a genuine nice human being & a class act!

I love Katt!!! Didnt appreciate him until 3 years ago. Not sure whati was thinking......same thing happened to me with Bernie. Loved him just the last 15years. Maturity has come to me.

Fair, but Chris Rock at his peak was something else. He crossed racial lines and had a more diverse audience, had the most organic transition into film. Note how Katt has never demeaned his accomplishments because he felt that he deserved them.

Katt and Dave just have different comedy they’re both absolutly hilarious.
