Katraj to Sinhagad (K2S)
The Katraj to Sinhagad also known as K2S is one of the best treks for beginners as well as for speed hikers in and around Maharashtra.

The trek starts from the Katraj Old Tunnel and goes all the way to Sinhagad through a series of hills connected through a single ridge line. K2S is very well known and well marked as well. If you are a beginner then you can finish this hike in a day. Many trekkers also do this trek at night, during weekends.

This video is the very first episode of the Katraj to Raigad range trek which is a 80 km long trek in Maharashtra. The Katraj to Sinhagad trail is a 15 km trek route (12 km trail, 03 km road) and is indeed the best trek to start from.
