+Oktanas Ameno Ulfberht swords are Northern European (lots from Norway), and were made during the transition from Viking styles and crafting to Medieval styles and crafting. Google it sometime, Ulfberht info makes for a fascinating read!

By far my favorite build yet you guys have done. Now builds are complicated but it pays off in the end

+TheInflicted That's... dayum. The Katana blade tempered to a nice, blood red shine is what I've been thinking, with an approprite CNC milled handle of course. But the ejection system... based on a real gun? Sure, they could use the upper receiver to give it the shape and maybe also weld the lower receiver with a magazine look-alike made from an alluminum alloy or something. Functionality? The best they could do is use a powerful spring ejection system, a pumped up version of the Assassin's Creed weapons they have fitted it on multiple times. Plus, the danger of the scabbard exploding upon firing is WAY too high, hence the laws they have to abide to.

impossible the macanical parts will be to week one strike and it jams or splits into pices but an whit out Anny moving or transforming parts is possible and sorta works. remeber that its an scyte (dont know how to writhe the name) and no one can move it like she dose and get the same results the curved ege is gona get stuck and not slice well but yes it sorta can be done.

Well maybe because its a small tiny thin weak sword the only thing worth making would be the hilt, the blade is way to thin and its just a simple straight blade. I might like it if they do a traditional build of a heavier version; basically a one handed sword but with the right thickness, if they are going to make a cross guard one handed sword with the thickness of a rapier, i rather watch a rapier build, also the hilt would be way more interesting and beautiful but hey that's just my opinion...

Mathias Gunnarsson Mainly because I haven't watched Volume 3 but I did look at some of the stills and think that while Qrow's weapon might look cool with the clock like mechanics, it looked like a sword to me. I wanted to see one of the weird ones. If there was more info on his weapon scythe form, I might have chosen Qrow's. Then again, it might just me liking the way Ruby and Blake uses their weapon.

Anti Skillshot I am interested to see how they make Myrtenaster but I am more interested to see whether they would make Crescent Rose scythe blade fold-able like they did with the handle of Scissor Blade. Also, Gambol Shroud is like two-in-one deal. A katana in a cleaver, how would these guys tackle the challenge.

Nice build, but you got the story behind the mockingly completely wrong. In the movie she gets it in the black market known as the hob to give to her sister, but prim gives it back when katniss gets reaped, get mother is fairly absent for most of this and there's no thrift shop in sight. In the book it's given to her by madge, the daughter of the mayor of district twelve when she gets reaped.

Current thinking is that certain professional bowmen did use high poundage 100-160# bows, but that other militia grade archers used lower values 80-100#.

That's because most of the weapons are ridiculously impractical. A steel/aluminum bow like this would probably have a draw weight of about 50-60lbs which is good enough to hunt large animals like elk and moose. Its not something the average person could easily use without first training the proper muscles. Some of their swords probably weigh at a bare minimum 20lbs which is really, really unwieldy (for frame of reference, many real life two-hand-swords barely weigh 5-6lbs at most which is ridiculous). And things like the Sword of Artorias, Gut's Pre-Dragonslayer, and the Gravity Hammer are just nuts

+christian jensen Yeah and she isn't even holding it properly, her arms is in front of her, a shame so many people there can shoot, but no one bothered to tell her that. Would've made the shots better (no pun intended), even if she couldn't shoot.

The production value is amazing..and this was 3 years ago. Goodbye TV, you served us well. Would've liked it to be darker, a jet black overall at the end and a bit less thickness removed for longevity and i'd love to save up and buy one though obviously making these is incredibly difficult and not guaranteed so thats understandable.

In the movie Katniss finds it at the Hob where she buys or sells the game she recently hunted/poached while in the book it is Madge Undersee (she was Katniss' best female friend) who was the mayor's daughter of District 12 was the one gave Katniss the pin for luck.

The pin was given to Katniss by her friend, the mayors daughter for good luck. It was not given to her by her mother. This is why I hate the movies. They change the stupidest things. Like the golden cornucopia not being gold....

You really should have told the version of the mockingjay pin's origin story from the books. I honestly don't know why they changed it, because it had so much more significance in the books.
