SHAMEFUL! I've seen Father's neglect their kids but they still at least like them and keep in touch maybe 10 times a year (still awful) but not as bad as Harvey fathers, he completely ignored Harvey as if he doesn't exist and there is no excuse for it as he easily has access to what Harvey is getting up to. Even if you didn't want to raise him why completely ignore him, he is sick. Karma will hit him so bad.

Hearing Harvey say “oh yes mummy” brings me just endless joy and does make me tear up sometimes at how much he loves he’s mummy. Endless love from Australia you guys 💝

Absolutely feel so privileged to be able to watch Harvey's journey into adulthood. You look after him so well Katie. I wish you all so much love and good luck for the coming changes. X

Aw bless him 🥰 Hes so knowledgeable and passionate about trains. His reading skills on the documentary greatly impressed me......he can read a lot better than some 18 year olds who have had a regular education. He is a credit to katie and she is an amazing Mom to Harvey. The lad will go far 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

If it's ok can I ask for your advice? I'm 22 and a couple of GPs have said they think I might have mild autism, but I had never even considered it before. I'm trying to understand the whole thing and am very confused do you have any advice?

@@QuackDragon I would definitely get tested. Everyone has a bit of Autism in them experts stated. However, you can get a tested for it, by them asking you question & how you do thing, and like change of routine. Never feel ashamed if you do have it because many famous people. For example, Albert Einstein, Tim Burton, and many other celebs was on the spectrum, but done many great things. Tim Burton wife (Helena) got him tested for it, and he got tested it late. ♥️

Being a mum and step mum to children(one now an adult) with disabilities I can really understand how tough but rewarding it can be. I thought the tv documentary was amazing, I am telling everyone to watch it - you can see the very special bond between you spilling out of that film and people can say what they want about you Katie but they cannot deny your amazing parenting - it takes a very special person to do what you do - I know you would anyway as a good Mum, but it shows what a lovely person you really are - you have a beautiful heart. And Harvey and your other children are adorable. Such good mannered polite children too - you can see they have a good upbringing. The video showed a real can do attitude towards disabilities too and will do so much good for disability awareness. It was just brilliant. Thank you for sharing that with us.

Wish I could still care for my disabled child...24/7 care & I did it all alone , over 70 surgeries in his short 15yrs (he passed away March 2019) and I’d give anything to have him back! @Cal Norman are u trolling or are u genuinly interested in education? Harvey has a personality as do many other people with the same and similar conditions. He has interests and hobbies. Hes capable of pursuing interests with the correct support. Did u watch the documantary? He has an ehcp and a care plan which will all encorperate ways for Harvey to express himself and persue his hobbies with correct support to do so safely..

I would of kept her home with me forever but that would of been selfish of me. She wanted her life, independence, and to show me she was more even incredible than we already knew she is. Its great visiting her. She's so proud. Covid through has meant 3 visits since March 2020 and through a window and 1 hour Christmas where I finally got cuddles due to the rapid test. So grateful. For now daily facetime has to do but at least she's well and safe 🤞🏾with incredible dedicated carers. 😍

@@english3542 thank you. She loves it at her other home as we call it. There are only 6 guys they support as they are called and all have 1 to 1 carers all day. So 7am to 3pm. And 3pm to 10pm and night staff 10pm to 7am. They all have 2 main key workers who are always in close contact with us about her care, activities , menu etc. She always has the same 4 carers rotating for consistency and routine. He room and ensure is bigger than my house 🤣its been the best nearly 2 years of her life. Hard on us and I cry all the time but great for her and I never show her I hate her not being with me. We are even having a zoom pyjama party Saturday. Xx

Agreed. But taking a step back, I think Dwight Yorke is a poor excuse for a father, man and human being and therefore his absence from Harvey's life is no loss to him. The guy is no kind of positive role model, and they are better off without that kind of negative energy around them. Looking at the beautiful, positivity and love in this video it's clear to see it is very much Dwight Yorke's loss!

But you are seeing her smacking his chest and tummy here right ? You did see her twist his head ? And her voice is too loud too. None of this is good. I've a son with Severe Autism who's 20 and I wouldn't parade him around and practically yell down his ear like this.

@@fay-amieaspen6046 she’s not parading him around. She can’t win what ever she does. She knows he has to go to a college now he’s 18. Ppl are saying she’s cruel for kicking him out, which is definitely not the case. He will be forcibly taken if she doesn’t find him a decent place for his needs. So this program was to show the nasty ones what she has to do with Harvey. I think it took a lot of thinking on her part to do this documentary. He has to like the place and she clearly showed what being a good mother was about by putting him first . She adores him and he adores her, that’s very clear to see
