I ‘m the guy that John reads, He was more accurate than I knew. The month of January and the number one was my friend that died in the accident, he was the driver. The gun going off I think was when a bunch of us was messing with a pistol and didn’t know it was loaded and it went off. The bullet went into the door jamb chest high just as one of us was coming through the door. The woman with congestive heart failure and the month of April was my grandmother. When I got home that day I called a couple of my buddies that were there and they reminded me of all the crazy stuff we did. The question of paternity was a conversation my dad and I had about an uncle and we were the only ones who knew about that conversation. As you can tell by the look on my face I was in shock trying to put it all together as he was telling me about myself.

Hello, my daughter visited Mississippi and had a reading at this show and he was able to confirm that her grandmother was in spirit.

One of the funniest things I ever saw was John reading a dog. He had no idea what was going on. He thought he was reading a person only it was really confusing him because what he was “seeing” made no sense to him or to the person he was reading for. He kept asking if the “person” that this woman helped was physically challenged because it was like the person had to crawl everywhere. The woman kept saying no no no and John kept insisting. FINALLY he said confusedly and hesitantly, “Did you used to feed this person over a fence? I know that sounds crazy but it’s what I’m seeing.” The woman said, again, “No” shaking her head. Then she said, probably feeling pretty stupid, half joking, “I used to feed the neighbor’s DOG over the fence.” John got this stunned look on his face and said, “OMG, I just read a dog!!” Everyone, including John, burst out laughing. It was hysterical. When everything settled down, John says, “He wants me to thank you.” You can’t make this stuff up. I think John sees things but he doesn’t always know right off how to interpret what he sees. He has a vocabulary of symbols and he has to find a way of interpreting his vocabulary in such a way that strangers non native speakers can understand.

I can’t do what John does but I’ve had several encounters with loved ones... It wasn’t spooky or scary or weird. I wasn’t “wishing” for it or even always thinking about the person. It was quite unexpected and peaceful. One was a dream; the other two were not. John always says, “You don’t need me,” and I have no particular desire to be read for. I’ve never seen him in person and probably never will although it would be fun. But I don’t need him. If the people I love have anything to “say” to me, they will say it and I don’t care to hear from anyone I don’t love. :)

In 87, I was talking to a lady as we were working for the first time together at the Anaheim Convention Center...we were just talking out of boredom...she mentioned she and her husband were thinking about buying a large motor home....One of "those thoughts" quickly came in......I said "Don't.."......I couldn't tell her......I had the thought her husband would die soon and she would end up with that motor home and alone in it......so I quickly ended our chat and found a month later he just died. ....so many of us get "those thoughts" but that doesn't make us a fraud.

Wow that's amazing. My granddaughters daughter is 32 and visited the Dionne Warwick psychic network and they told her that at one point my daughter had been on a Dionne Warwick concert and reporters said her voice is improving since turning 85.

I guess I will always be an agnostic but unexplainable things have happened to me in my life. My mother came to me after she died. I was out of the country when she died from injuries from a car accident. It was not the typical by your bedside vision but one of total experience. As I woke up she came into my room and her presence filled every inch of it. Then she focused on my body and surrounded it like a warm cocoon and then went through me and away. It was a feeling of intense presence and I realized she had no dimension to her spirit and communication did not need words. Something that cannot be explained to others. Some years afterwards I went to a spiritual medium before the years of the internet. She only had my first name and phone number. She told me things I did not know or had forgotten. I saw her three times and she was phenomenal and she retired. I have never met one yet that compared to her.

he's been scientifically tested and the scientist that tested him is a master of scientific method and he put John Edwards and a group of psychics through the wringer ! John Edwards got the highest score and it was amazing because the scientist kept making the tests harder and harder because he was having a hard time with how good they were doing & it got so ridiculous that the scientist actually would blind fold john edwards next to a phone, the phone would ring, john would answer but the person calling wasn't allowed to speak and John would read the caller and then he'd hang up and the scientist would score the reading by accuracy , and he scored very accurate. the same scientist would also perform the test on a fake cold reader and it's no comparison there is a huge difference between a real psychic and a talented cold reader

Because we notice all the misses as well as the hits while people who believe this stuff only notice the hits and/or revise history and turn misses into hits. The car accident story-John said one lived, one died. Turns out two people died and one survived. John said the guy’s mom died but she hasn’t. He said older woman with congestive heart failure and then invited the wife into the reading and even widening the net like that, neither one knew who he was talking about. He said there was an accident with a gun going off but nobody was killed and the guy said a bunch of generations ago someone killed someone by accident. He said there was an adoption in the family and when the guy couldn’t connect that, he changed it to there being an issue of paternity in the family. Do you have an adoption in your family? I do. Do you have anyone in your family where paternity was in question? I do. Do you have a younger male who died in a car accident where one lived and one died? I do. Did you lose an older lady to congestive heart failure? Yep, you guessed it, I have. Do you have someone in spirit with a J or G name? Do you understand the January connection or the 1st of a month? Those are all questions John asked that guy and the guy connected the dots he could for John and we’ll just ignore all the ones the guy couldn’t make work for John.

From there - pick a thing, like missing a leg or firing a gun or a car accident or heart disease or cancer; then pick 2-3 letters or 1-2 months …. You know how many people have diabetes at our older ages? Or cancer or heart disease? Yeah, high probability. Then the letters? 1-2 out of 26, but most first or last names have 1 of 5 letters, so that is another low probability; same with months - there’s stats in the most birthed months, etc. Like the lesbian woman? I could have done her entire reading - recent breakup? She had emotional problems or mental illness or was bipolar? That’s all probable. I hope I’m wrong and these folks can meet with our deceased loved ones, but ………………..

John seems to say specific things but Char tries to make things fit where they don't. I'm more psychic than she is.

Edwards is only specific by forcing the person to somehow reach back in there memory to make something he dreams up fit. Char just works off common names but somehow the "Spirits" only give her the 1st letter of the name?? Why don't the "Spirits" give Edwards more letters of 1st names?? Ha they're both very good at making people believe they can make contact with the dead. But of course they can't. It's a practiced art they have refined over years.

He said there was a connection, could be to BOTH dates. It may hit the guy later what it was after he thinks about it. In all honesty the guy didn't seem all that with it, like he was trying to put things together in his mind to figure out what matched. Plus in many of these type videos a lot of information comes through during one persons reading that actually relates to someone else in the audience. Believe it or don't...it won't matter to some of us until its all over.

Each video I see with John, he always brings up 'something with a leg', 'a father figure' or a 'mother figure' and 'something with the chest or heart'. Again, that's so broad. Also, every video I've seen with Char Margolis, she always starts with 'I'm getting M or MA', and someone affected by cancer. I've seen more than a hundred videos of his readings / interviews. He's not using the word contemporary like the dictionary definition. He means someone that would be to the side of you in a family tree. Friend, sibling, cousin, spouse. When he says "above you", it almost always means someone older who is above you in a family tree. "Below you", same thing. It's always gonna be someone the person has a personal connection with. Their dead barista isn't gonna come through, unless they had a deep relationship. He doesn't hear a voice, really. He once described it as like being shouted at from a fast-moving car. You might hear a bit of it, but the car's moving so fast that it's already gone by the time you're trying to make it out. He always connects with dead family, so of course it makes sense that "father figure" and "mother figure" would show up often. People who go to him are more likely to be older, since the tickets are expensive, and they're more likely to have dead parents than dead children. Heart disease is the most common cause of death in the US, so of course something in the chest would show up very often. If you're open-minded, keep watching his readings, and esp some interviews. Or read his books. Either he's a complete liar, or you will be struck by how authentic and no-nonsense he is. Down-to-earth. Doesn't try to seem special or better than you. Those are the things I like about him.

John Edwards at 12:28 said that there's a connection with the month of Jan...someones anniversary or birthday, then I guess 2 min later he forgot what month he said and at 14:28 said there was something about the month of April, rather then January.

I have always enjoyed watching John’s readings and I think he comes across well and likeable. I attended a reading of his many years ago now and can’t say I was anything but impressed but having watched a few of these videos in here in a row now, he always starts with a J or G name, in every video i have watched...it’s the same thing. I can’t explain how he can explain other situations, or provide the information he does to some people but can’t help but feel it’s weird he literally always starts with J or G.

Time is one of the most difficult to predict because time doesn't exist across the veil. On the other side of the veil only exists dimensions. Time is a man made concept. It can be the greatest challenge to predict WHEN something will occur. I am psychic and gift of mediumship. No, I don't do it for a living or ever charge. I can tell you I have dreamt of things that happened and felt things that came true; however, I have always gotten the 'when' off every time. If you are open and interested in understanding, then don't base timing as a reason to believe.

Just because you dont agree with a subject doesnt mean you shouldnt listen. Everything.. yes.. EVERYTHING in life life is something that is learned. you learn by.. listening, experiencing etc... Do i believe in the content of this video? hmm.. Im not convinced either way. Do i believe everything i watch on youtube? LOL!!! NO :p so.. IN answer to your question, Why do so many skeptics watch the show? the answer is to gather information to form an opinion one way or the other. I'm so happy to here char margolis say she visually saw spirits. Like gosts because i saw a gost before my wife passed. We both did. Me and brittany both saw him visually but he spoke into our heads. The one thing I do not like in these kind of videos is the interviewer. Journalistic integrity is always thrown out the window when people conducting the interviews cannot stay in the middle and either not be bias or saying they are sceptical. Char Margolis, damn. I'm not entirely appreciative of how you conduct the read with the interruptions and talking over them and even yelling over them. When you're with John, the comparison is huge. John seems so much more calmer and quieter when he does his reads. Sure he speaks fast, but it seems he has learned to bring that down.

I wonder why the messages from the "other side", are always positive. I wonder why you never hear about some medium somewhere, working a low paying job, but help people for FREE, because they would never take advantage of their "god given" gift. Grief is a powerful and tortuous emotion. I wish people were smarter.

If it doesn't ring for the guy, there isn't a necessary reason to dwell on it unless the loved one is being persistent with passing on that information, which Edwards often does (he doesn't drop the information until someone acknowledges where it belongs because it is important). Furthermore the information he receives is mostly for validation. He admits when he gets it wrong and will often start with a disclaimer before reading. No need to watch carefully. Mediums can be just as susceptible to mistakes as any human in the field they work. Doesn't make em phonies.

I am a medium myself in no way would I ever charge anyone ridiculous amounts of money for a sitting I charge £ 30 for a reading which is more than enough to ask anyone to pay, and I charge £10 per- person for my show demonstrations

(1) I don't take orders from anyone (2) I don't have to prove myself to anyone (3) No matter if I did decide to prove my gift to you I would still be called a fraud or fake why do I say this, it's very simple: (1) You will say I went out of my way to look on facebook for info (2) I went onto Google to seek info: about you (3) I found were you lived and hunted down your family details (4) SO WHATS THE POINT OFF ME TRYING TO PROVE TO YOU THAT I AM A PSYCHIC MEDIUM, & YOUR REPLY TO THAT WOULD BE, AND I DON'T HAVE TO BE PSYCHIC TO KNOW YOUR ANSWER...….YOUR ANSWER WOULD BE: you don't want to prove it because you can't, but when you go back to the reasons why I don't have to prove myself to you then you will know the reasons why I refuse to read for you..

How about this....why are so many people wearing the color red? Why is it, everyone picked in the audience was not wearing red but were with someone wearing red? Coincidence? I think not.

I don't live in the states but have always heard so much about Katie Couric. I don't know what I was expecting. this is the first time I have heard her speak. I must say...am very disappointed. A woman in her position, I would have thought would be more sophisticated.

"A level of fast passing" just that statement. is enough to tell you he is not a Medium. Because if he was talking direct to a Spirit individual then it would be a precise peice of information.

Why do you say that? If someone had not long passed, and it was a quick unexpected passing, the spirit can come through very mixed up, as they themselves find it hard to believe they are on the other side themselves, so it's not always accurate

There many who are gifted but when everone claiiming the same thing and same experiences the same way it sounds scripted

Asking a question in a statement is NOT or NEVER will be spirit communication. I only saw a section America started modern spiritualism but how far has it falls when we see northerners like these. I only say that because I watched his show ,yt videos for quite a while if he is A psychic believe me there is a difference the former reads the auric and gains info from the auric field Charlene is as bad

False comfort is given by all mediums, psychics, tarot card twirlers and too many misinformed paranormal groups. The Scriptures say in Leviticus Ch 19. v 31.
