Don't wish that

I went to school with her brother, a really nice guy. I was sad to hear that she had become a diva to the point that she made enemies. I'd always imagined she would have been nice like he was. And I guess she was to her admirers, just not to her coworkers. I guess fame and money sometimes goes to people's heads and don't always build the kind of character we need. We all have our trials. Her voice is beautiful, though.

Do you KNOW Kathleen Battle just because you went to school with her brother, Rev A?! There are TWO sides to every story, and many people judge others when they only hear one side of an issue and not the other! I've heard others who know her say just the opposite of what you've posted about her! Besides, NONE of us is perfect! As the Lord says, ".....first cast out the beam out of thine own eye......" which see Matthew 7:5 KJV!

Rev A. - You and your ilk who love to come on Kathleen Battle videos and spew your venom somehow NEVER go to videos of the Queen of "diva to the point that she made enemies" and "just not to her coworkers", that epitome of rude and unprofessional behaviors, maria callas, who was notorious for demonic behaviors, diva tantrums and drunken fits and conflicts with fellow cast members, musicians and maestros the world over! Arturo Toscanini at one point refused to work with her. Yet, she is celebrated and held in high esteem as a great soprano. Stew in your negativity!!
