When a person wrongs another person, they are expected to compensate their victim. Why shouldn't this be applied to Black Americans in US history?

The "case for reparations" is a smug, self congratulatory scam on the part of a bunch of liars who cover up PRESENT EVILS embedded in the very same system they are loath to change lest justice cause them to sacrifice any one of their present privileges, and it amounts to pretending that the worst oppression and slavery is in the past, because they are not going to voluntarily admit to the very things they perpetrate IN THE PRESENT, or admit that there is a PRESENT PROBLEM where you don't even begin to think of reparations for past wrongs when the first matter at hand should be CESSATION OF CURRENT ABUSE -- something they are absolutely committed to not doing ESPECIALLY if it should threaten even the smallest amount of their FUNDING. Or, heaven forfend, what might happen to their reputation should they admit to it in the first place. And admit to the layers upon layers of lies they've told and present evils they know about, they help promulgate, and which they have willfully and stubbornly persisted in covering up. Up to a point where, for certain totalitarian leaning academics, one can only hope that one day they might be caught. Because they are not going to voluntarily give up all their lucrative secretive uber sophisticated modern day slavery projects they perpetrate through their connections to the mob.

Within our government and within white communities, That rationale only holds true for light-skinned individuals. Those who see reparations as a scam are light skin creeps who see themselves as superior when they are really just racist demonic sad little people that should go away and live at the bottom of the sea.
