It's so lovely and refreshing to see a successful woman who is not afraid to be PROUD of her success! YES you have amazing clients, YES you fly first class, YES you sell millions of dollars of product in a day on QVC, and good on you, you worked hard for it! I feel so frustrated at how often women on youtube have to apologise or give disclaimers when they talk about their success so they aren't judged as gloating. Would men be judged the same for showing off their successes? Not at all! Good on you Kate I can't wait to try your line! xx

I met her last year and I was so star struck I kind of froze and stuttered out some sentence that didn’t make much sense at all 😂 Kate is such a lovely person with a heart of gold, you can really see that she genuinely cares about the product development, her clients and customers. It's absolutely true that there's no BS on this channel, and I love that! I am 48 and only recently started getting serious about a skincare regime. My skin was just a wreck... but I've devoured all the info I could find on your blog and your videos, and have begun a sensible, BS-free skincare regime with phenomenal results. My husband frequently comments on how great my skin looks and that I've taken 10 years off. I used to hide behind pounds of makeup, and I can actually feel good just wearing minimal makeup now and letting my skin shine through! Really, all the advice and product reviews you've shared have been life changing. My self confidence is through the roof and I've finally got my mojo back! So thank you, Caroline, thanks bunches!!!

It's mindblowing how much the condition of our skin impacts our confidence and motivation to improve ourselves, and when you start improving, the rest just seems to follow (this applies to me so much). You stop punishing yourself and start respecting your skin even when it's acting up and just like kate mentioned, you treat your skin like an ecosystem which has to be respected and treated accordingly, as tempting as it used to be, scrubbing the living daylight out of the it isn't what i automatically think i should do anymore. So excited for kate somerville's launch!

skeletondance every single word that you’ve typed is so so true. For me it was finding, through research, a few products that finally worked for me, establishing a cohesive skincare routine that didn’t damage, and giving it time to work. When you see first, however small, results - it’s like you can finally let go and allow your skin to get better in peace. I look back at when i used to treat my skin with so much frustration and anger because nothing was working and i can’t quite believe sometimes that i’m past that, and how much more content overall i am.

I love how passionate you both are about skin care and helping people. I also now get what you mean by products from skin care specialist. I have an issue with a red rash that flares up under my eyes and either side of my mouth but by the time I make s doctors appointment it's gone and he won't treat me based on a picture. What I am trying to say is for some of us you are our best/ only source of info and I for one am truly grateful that you are here in KZread land 💕

I was so excited for this video!! I love you both so much. She has such an inspiring business story. I work at Sephora as the skincare consultant and we had our Kate Somerville event yesterday to promote the brand and some of her new products. Great timing for this video hehe. I love supporting her brand because I love her story and I know many of the products I’ve recommended to clients in the past have worked for them and they have become returning customers. My personal favorites are the Quench Oil-Free Serum, the Anti Bac lotion 5% benzoyl peroxide, the Line Release Eye Cream and the Goat Milk moisturizer. I have a degree in science and my only concern (for the environment) before was the polyethylene beads in the exfoliKate. Thank you Caroline for this video! Ps: I’m heading to the Container Store today for some muji-Esque drawers as recommended by you for my hot mess of a product collection LOL xo

Veronica Kaneti If you can't afford ExfoliKate (it is expensive but worth it), try her ExfoliKate moisturizer. Same active ingredients, but more gentle and a lot less expensive. You can supplement with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner 7%.

First, fantastic example of respect and support...between two self-made women- it is how professional, passionate, successful people act. I love the reference to Cher!! Second, I’m delighted that Marketing was called out for the BS that it is.Third, I am thankful for Caroline’s dedication to integrity and honesty regarding brands and what we as consumers can expect from their products. Lastly, I had no idea about Kate...even though I own four of her products! I purchased them because of Caroline. It was lovely to learn about her!!! Lastly, the food skin connection is immensely important and somewhat mystifying for me.I would love to know more about what you put in your body and the ramifications for the skin.I admire and respect both of you. Absolutely brilliant, you are!💌

Love the fact that she acknowledges allergies and that not all "Natural Ingredients" suit everyone. It's not just essential oils that can cause problems with allergic/eczema prone skin. We have a latex allergy (ananphylaxis) in the family and have to even check if the pipettes are made from Natural Rubber Latex or a Man Made Rubber. Have placed an order today and look forward to trying the samples offered. I've tried many brands that claim to be for sensitive or reactive skin to cause breakouts/cysts and rashes. Luckily they have a good returns policy even though you have to pay P&P.

I’ve tried several items from her line and find the Nourish moisturiser to be fantastic in our hot, Australian summers. This is the 3rd year I’ve purchased it - beautifully lightweight with a pleasant, light citrus-y scent and wonderfully hydrating. The Dermal Quench is a fun product to use, too.

How fun is it to fan girl over Caroline fan girling over Kate? Made my morning! I'll admit, I've been intrigued about the line but have not tried it as of yet. Don't flog me. I'm sensitive and I only add new products one at a time and like a newborn I use them consistently for a few days/weeks as a try on to see how I react/respond. I have a weird chemistry and sometimes a first try isn't truly telling on how my weird body chemistry is. I suppose this is now next on my list!

While I love Kate it is frustrating that in Australia her website diverts to Mecca where you can buy her products. So we can’t enter this competition, but also, it’s impossible to look at her LA salon and review the treatment menu. I always book treatments when I travel!

When I started using the Age Arrest cream my mom was convinced that I had gotten Botox, it’s *that* good. Also, the Goat Milk moisturizer rescued my skin when when I went through a bout of hormonal cystic acne. Everything from that line is truly is as gentle as it is effective.

I always have so many questions. I don’t know if I should just wait it out. As I’m 6 months postpartum. I was dry and then got pregnant and was an oil slick and so much acne. Now I’m combination. I’ll be oily in my t zone but have dry flaky skin with acne (mostly in my t zone). Oh and all of a sudden I’m so sensitive. So it’s like wading through the jungle. I love the honesty of these videos.

Talking about great product names, she has a decollete mask called "between us girls".

Thank goodness, i won't have to pay for those expensive postage. I've been using her oil-free moisturiser and clarifying treatment toner for more than 5 years.
