Kate Interview on Alzheimer's pt.1

This is one of the most touching interviews I ever saw of Kate so I was sad that it couldn't be found anywhere anymore. Sorry for the bad sound and vid quality.

I love hearing Kate speak about the necessity of humor in the face of life's miseries and grief. Laughter has gotten me through so much loss and death of my loved ones, including my youngest son; it's essential. Once again, Kate Mulgrew speaks right to the truth and heart of life.

This is so sad. I was just thinking about dementia after reading a short story on this issue. It's such a tragedy to see a loved one slowly disappear in front of one's eyes. I feel for Kate and everyone else who has a loved one affected by this disease.

I do feel really awful for Kate, and I think it's so brave of her to talk about it so openly like this. I've always enjoyed her good use of the English langugage and her ability to speak as such, very intelligent and likable woman.

I love her speaking!! She had a live FB feed today and I adored it. Alzheimer’s Disease is a silent killer. And bless Kate for talking about this.
