Hello there..ok ,just a few things.. after watching you from the beginning I noticed that you are VERY observant with your reads...and you truly know what you want from a book. .I happen to think your incredibly smart and one has to ask..why don't you write a book,perhaps a middle grade type...I think you could easily do it...and also does Kate keep it simple bc she knows her target audience is very young and can't handle character development??..thoughts please

Thanks! I would love to write a book, though I don't think I'd shoot for middle grade. And I'm sure it would not be easy; it's very easy to have opinions, but very difficult to carry them out in practice. :) I think Kate DiCamillo does write simply with her audience in mind, but her previous work showed a lot more depth, and I'm certain that this age group can not only handle character development, but that they will expect it, even if it isn't a defined expectation.
