There is sincere, true affection for Kate from her fans; how many superstars hear "Bye! Bye! Well done!" when they're getting into their chauffeur-driven car? I also believe that affection is reciprocated, along with a mutual respect. Such humility is a rare and precious thing, as is Kate...

i got emotional watching this. I still can't believe i get to see her in concert in September. A total dream come true. Greatest musical talent ever. OXOXOX

Agreed! She is the most amazing artist ever!

I am a life long Kate fan. I remember being there that night and I can glimpse myself on here! It was a fab evening seeing her debut film ‘The Red Shoes’. I was also so lucky to have near front row seats at her ‘Before The Dawn Concert’ on 2014.

Kate Bush is absolutely lovely ! I love her music so much :)

I thought I recognised her father - only from the grainy film we have of him earlier in her career. Nice to see clearer footage of him. He seems so good-humoured, like her.

How sweet, she brought her father with her..

Great to see Kate here .There really have only been a handful of true "geniuses" in popular music such as Paul McCartney , John Lennon , Brian Wilson ,Elton John and Jimi Hendrix (plus a few others) .Kate Bush definitely belongs at the top of the tree with these artists.She is so multi-talented and totally unique !

It must have been wonderful to watch the film on a big screen, wish I'd been there! But I am sure Kate dislikes the crowd around her car when she's leaving...Great piece of film !!

Wow just realised how stalkerish that comment I posted 8 months ago sounded... no wonder Kate is probably scared of her fans! Well... it would just be so lovely to meet the person who created the music I adore so much. Kate does look out of place... but always very graceful and professional.

Shy persons sometimes project an image of arrogance,me myself and I attitude. According to herself,Kate is a very shy person. She can't handle medias attention for too long. Apparently she's a warm person in her personnal life.Of course I can't comfirm

i love that she lugs that giant purse around with her even in evening event like this , wear ,most rock stars have small purse ,... or not carrying then at all , just show Kate like be normal ,..lol she soo cute!!

@@Budd1234 It wasn't too long after this, possibly a year or so. After this appearance, Kate literally disappeared from the public until 2002 when she accepted an award and performed with Dave Gilmour at the Q Awards. Nothing is known about her private life since the early 90s except she started seeing Danny McIntosh after splitting with Del and they had a son, Bertie in 1998. She also moved to Devon in 2004.

This may sound childish, but I really do hope I could just SEE kate once in my life, she has become just so ... I don't know... invisible... hidden.. I get worried she doesn't exist sometimes. I'm no stalker but she has/ is just this wonderful presence I want to experience

Talk about mad stalkers! I feel sorry for her, the fans just wouldnt leave her alone! I like the fact that she is so down to earth and arrived and left by the main doors with everyone, but unfortunately doing that opens you up to all the wackos amd crazies out there! Now with her Before the Dawn concerts, she arrived early at the venue and left late so she wasnt hounded and there was no access to the stage door for fans because of security gates. I dont blame her after years of being hounded.

This looks horrible, who in their right mind would want this? Any intelligent person who wanted to hang onto themselves would run away screaming from all of this.

With the build up before the presentation, it's sad that the film was considered such a disappointment by all involved and many audiences.

And people wonder why she disappeared out of the limelight . . . . . this is pretty much explanitary

sad but true. bit of an odd film. a bit dated feeling even when it was released. she might have been better doing a movie for the 9th wave as was originally planned.

Im sorry but i think her staying away from the public so much causes this. Robert Plant Jimmy Page walk around town no prob. People say hi some ask for autographs but all in all its not bad. I mean at a event yea its prob is. This not letting people get to know her, her being distant causes a need to want to figure her out. If that makes any sense...maybe it doesnt. Oh well.

Two years yadda, but yes, she can't win really, she never wanted or liked the fame, keeps away as much as she decently can and naturally becomes an enigma to her fans because of it. Elton John had a big birthday bash at his swanky pile, Kate turns up and steals his thunder just by being there.

@@birdsong985 I don't recall when now, but it was an Elton documentary where he jokingly explained that when then she turned up for the party, she quickly became centre of attention just by virtue of being present. Quite funny really.

@@birdsong985 It was after the ceremony at Elton's "wedding" for want of a better word. 600 people were at the reception and Elton had to parade her around for introductions.
