Sure the story wasn't original, but this movie beats so many other action films with the acting, the insane choreography, the stunning cinematography and masterful aesthetic. Everything in the film is so purposeful and intentional to the character arc, that although the plot was predictable, it was still utterly engaging

You know, if they ever make another Alien movie and they need someone to cast as Ripley, she has the looks for it. Specially after seeing some of the scenes in this film, She reminds me of her.

Watched this for the 2nd time!!! Mary is such a total killer babe!!! Even if the story is so predictable i still enjoyed it! The action, the setting, the cinematography and band maid!!!! Love Kate and Ani's relationship!!!😭

This movie is just made for fun entertaining action movie. It doesn't have to be so groundbreaking, just make it an entertaining action movie and it works. Don't expect this to be an Oscar worthy action movie like Mad Max Fury Road. I honestly don't care that much about the story because we've seen these type of story many times that are done better, I just wanna see Maru Elizabeth Winstead punch people and kicking ass and I got that. She's great at it, I can see how passionate she was in the role. She's really capable of being an action star. One of the most underrated actress ever, I can't wait to see what else she does in the future maybe in an action movie again just with a better writing

Well, she played Bruce Willis' daughter in Die hard 4. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Heck, if they gonna make Die hard spin off with woman as a lead, they already have one.

I appreciate that they did not shoehorn too much story in an action movie. They always end up feeling a bit too long and just comes of as edgy at best.

Action movies are beautiful because they dont require some super complicated plot, just give somebody a reason to punch alot of other people and thats all you need haha

I watched this 3x & i immediately pray for thes sequels.& mary elizabeth is my all time crush since final destination, die hard & cloverfield & her other films. I cant wait for her next new films😍

I want to believe that this movie has a part 2. After all, it's an open ending.

I saw her in Abraham Lincoln the vampire hunter and I never assumed that a girl with such charm and cuteness could become so brutal.

i loved a specific dialog. it was "Cancer Bitch" . it was both funny, scary and cool at the same time

A little predictable, some logical inconsistencies, but for what it was, this movie was a fun watch. There were a few moments that had me just hollering I loved them so much, and the action was pretty entertaining. Not a bad time at all, impressive work from Winstead.

i'd give this movie a solid 7 to a soft 8. nothing you haven't seen before, but everything was executed very well. great cast and being set on the streets of tokyo adds a slightly different flair

Great Movie 🎥 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆. Fun to watch more than once. Very believable action. Kate's martial arts look very authentic. Like they'd really work in a fight. And Woody Harrelson was the perfect mentor / evil mastermind. Too bad Kate died at the end. This would've made a good trilogy.

@buttercakeluv I agree. But they made it seem like Kate's death was especially bad due to the radioactive isotope she ingested. Now maybe the producers & Netflix will develop 2 movies based on Kate's 2 missions prior to her final one. That would be great 👍🏾⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

the action was really boring, it felt like everyone was going really slow to give winstead time to pull off her moves, its very frequent when people arent actually good at the fight mechanics
